Oh yes. Edgar Barlton has been studying Shadow magics for a long while and should, by now, have his own personal mind slave! This slave will have free will, to make things fun, but will be linked to Edgar's mind at all times. Come and join Barlton's antics!

All races are welcome!
Unfortunately to say, it really isn't possible to keep a mindslave, or to keep your mind connected to someone else's.
I've seen them in lore. Some NPCs in Undercity have the name, as well.
Yes, but Shadow Priests don't have the ability to connect their minds permanently to another.

And they can only mind control for 2min.
Ah...Gerald's Theresa.

Quote:Gerard Abernathy says: So what do you think of my new toy?
Leona Tharpe says: Truly amazing, Gerard. How did you do it?
Gerard Abernathy says: I managed to discover that certain parts of the brain when removed or stimulated will make the subject much more docile.
Joanna Whitehall says: I don’t agree with your turning to alchemy to fix some of the problems, but I do agree with the results. Very well done.

Mindslaves are made through lobotomies and the use of chemicals.

If you want one, I'd suggest going that route. And even then, you will be unable to have a mind link with it because it is the stance of both Admins and GMs that such a connection can open ways for meta-gaming and other such silliness.

Otherwise, I approve immensely and may just apply for the position myself.
I am new to the server and would need to get to know your style of roleplay first but I would be rather interested in playing such a character.
While not interested, I do have a possible suggestion.

I don't know if it's any more allowable, but perhaps link the mindslave to an item, and the holder of that item can use it to send signals or impulses? Not full-on messages, mind, but vague directions. "Move this way." "Be sad." "Obey my command" and so on? It transmits a feeling or a desire, which the mind-slave would then be compelled to do or feel, but not the literal words? They'd never be able to send a message, and if separated from the object they would likely be unable to even send their limited commands.

Again, I don't know if it'd break the rules or no. Just a suggestion.

Edit: This is in addition to the lobotomy and alchemy.
