So, I was thinking today of why Outland in specific gets so little RP. So, I decided that my next spontaneous event is going to be there. However, one problem with this is it's trouble. It, of course, has high level mobs, but what I was worried about the maneuverability that one has without a flying mount. A flying mount would also reduce the trouble of aforementioned mobs.

So, what I was going to ask is, would it be possible to raise the character-level-before-profile to 60, to accommodate to this flaw? Perhaps it'll be helpful in holding events in these areas.
No. But I might be willing to lower the requirement for flying mounts to 50...

Boosting to 60 wouldn't be feasible for many reasons. One of the chief reasons being that's when Death Knights become creatable, which would allow peons to make them.

If Kretol lowers the req for flying mounts, though, that would end up giving the same effect.
I think the flying broom only requires 150 Riding skill which can be achieved in level 40.

Even though if you're looking for IC mounts, I think reducing the level needed would be much better.
I think I read about this once before the restart but is it possible just to make all mobs neutral?
Making all the mobs neutral would be poorly representing what the place is actually like, however.
Outland RP is problematic because Outland is both OOCly lethal [to those who are not approved] and ICly lethal [...Basically to anyone.] You can always RP in Shattrath. But due to many reasons, using the Dark Portal will get you... Not too far. So many demons and hellfire orcs. You can also use to OOC teleport to the Nagrand Arena, and walk from there, seeing not even 40% of the Nagrand Mobs are hostile. You can also carry the unapproved ones on the back of the 3man and 2man mounts. To reduce their aggro.

Ah. I totally derped on the Death Knight part. My bad.

You need Flying Training, which is only attainable at level 60, to use that or the Horseman's mount to fly.

Right. Don't forget, though, you'd also need to lessen the level needed to train in how to fly.

The Flying Machine and Turbo-Charged flying machine still both require lvl 60 to learn and create. As a lvl 50 master gnomish engineer I would like to formally ask that this bad be lifted... only for gnomes. The other races CLEARLY do not deserve to benefit from the might of gnomish technology and should not be allowed to become engineers at all.
The level req should be updated after the next restart.
Great! Good timing, because my next event will be focused in Outlands.
Well, the flying machine level reqs. The training and normal mounts are already done.
Oh! Great!
