Well my highest hunter ever in this game on a retail server was level 25ish, so I am not too familiar with the class, although one of my best friends loves the class more then anything else, so I do have some knowledge.
I was doing stuff in Azshara (I miss the old one, I like going there on here) when I came across a Wavethrasher mob, which is a hydra (Which was never tamable save a specific glitch one that was fixed quickly). It made me think what about this server if there would ever be any unobtainable pets (Seeing as Wrath added a *ton* of what were formally that) available, as I am always hearing hunters I know on retail utter the line "It would be awesome if that was tamable". Things like Hydra's, Zhevra's, Basilisk's, etc.
And from what I gather most wouldn't mess up lore (And seeing as you can tame Chromaggus on retail, it seems really anything is possible). And I imagine for a hunter's RP (Correct me if I am wrong), their pet would play a big role in it, at least if/when I make one it would, making "Untamable" pets widen the range of which you could do stuff with.
