Kelarria plodded through the forest, the dull clank of her plate even further dulled by the leather it was sitting on top of. The sky was still dark, though the sun was beginning to rise on the horizon. Just a few more minutes, and Eversong would be washed over with the golden glow of the sun once more.

Kelarria pressed her back to a tree, and slid down into a sit against it, her head rolling back as she looked up at the canopy of the forest. Her mind wandered over the events of the last few weeks, but she never really settled on one thought. She sighed, and shut her eyes, deciding to catch a little bit of sleep.

This was not meant to be, as her snooze was interrupted by a scream of a woman, not too far away. Her eyes snapped open and she scrambled to her feet, drawing her blade from her back. She wasn't sure what was going on, or who was involved, but it didn't stop her. She stumbled down a hillside, before bumping into another tree. She peered around the corner, and finds a woman being attacked by a ghoul. Without even thinking if she'd survive this, she charges the ghoul, raising her blade high. Distracted by the woman infront of it, the ghould doesn't even notice her until the blade lops off one of its arms. It turned its head towards Kelarria, and gave off a bit of a scream, leaping into the air, and clawing at her with its one arm.

Kelarria kicked the ghoul back, but not soon enough, its claws digging into her plate, and through the leather beneath. Three gashes in her abdomen, but nothing serious. She went to take another chop at the ghoul, but already it had recovered, bringing its claw down once more. Kelarria threw her arms up, and the claws sank into the plated guantlet, and were stopped by the bracer beneath. She spun around on her left heel, her right leg raised, and she plowed her foot into the ghouls head, knocking it down. Once more she raises her blade, and this time manages to bring it down. The ghoul was not down for the count, and once more claws at her. This is met by her blade crashing down on its head, and putting it to stop for good.

Kelarria huffed out a breath, not even checking herself over as she scrambled over to the woman the ghoul had attacked. What was a ghoul doing this far from the scar? Did it chase her out this far? The woman was unarmed, and had no armor. She had nearly been gutted by the ghoul, and Kelarria even thought she could see her org- She quickly shook her head, averting her eyes. She pulled a pile of bandages from her bags, and did her best to bandage the woman up. She took a healing potion, and made sure the woman drank it. The woman was too busy being unconscious to argue against it. Kelarria nodded to herself, replacing her items before hefting the woman into her arms. "You're going to be fine..."

She broke into a run towards Silvermoon, going as swiftly as she can without falling over. Fallen leaves crunched under her boots as she sped to the road, where she stomped down with a boot, spun on it, and ran down the road. The woman stirred slightly from the movements, her head and eyes lazily drifting to look at Kelarria. Her mouth moved to speak, but nothing more than gasps and weak breaths came out. Kelarria looked down at the woman for just a moment, and shook her head. She huffed out another breath before speaking. "Just.. stay still.. will be fine.. soon.." She nodded to herself. Her body was screaming at her to stop pushing herself so hard, and her lungs burned for air, but she did her best to ignore it.

Kelarria came to a staggering halt infront of the gates of Silvermoon, dropping to her knees as a pair of Guardians jogged up to her. "Hurt badly.. ghoul.. need healer.." She panted for air as the woman was quickly ran off by one of the Guardians, the other remaining nearby to check on Kelarria. She simply shook her head. "I'm fine.. just.. trying to help.."

She fumbled around in her bags for another healing potion, and she downs it. She peers down at her injuries, and shrugs weakly before marching off tiredly into Silvermoon for healing.

...

"Mommy?" One of the children called out, their mother having come home hours later. A mangled, bloody robe hung over her arm, while she was in a new outfit afterwards. She bent over and frowned slightly at her daughter. "Mommy was attacked by one of the mean undead earlier.. but some girl came and killed it and rescued me." The little girl frowned with her, before smiling. "That means you met a hero, mommy!" She giggled as her mother pat her on her head, standing upright. "I didn't meet her really, but..." She looked down at her daughter, and then her son playing in the other room. "She did bring me back to my children. So perhaps you're right." She smiled down at her daughter, nudging her in her sons direction. "Go play, we have lots to do later!"
