A massive orc covered in red and gray steel enters the war room.

"My brothers, my sisters, the time for war has come! We have chosen a land rich in supplies, and are planning to invade. The alliance already have a grip on the area, so we must hit hard and swift. We will be the thunder from the hills, the hurricane that sweeps through the land. The horde legion will make this land and its resources it's own. We need soldiers, builders, miners, blacksmiths, tailors, everything." He turns his gaze to a map in the center of a room, with an alliance flag on one side, and a horde flag on the other. "Everything... to destroy the Alliance. We must not let them stand in our way. I call on you again, brothers, sisters. The time for war... is now."

This RP will be a roll based war between Alliance and Horde in an area that has yet to be determined. There will be group battles and boss fights with high ranking members of each side.

Each side will have set outfits to wear depending on class. As the storyline progresses each side will have chances to upgrade their armor and such. Having resource advantages will give you advantages during battle. What kind of gear you wear will effect your abilities in battle.

Using a shield will make you less likely to be critically hit, but give you a decreased chance to get critical hits yourself.

Using a 2 hander will increase your chance to get a critical chance, but will also increase the chance of receiving one.

Bosses have high amounts of HP and depending on their offensive choice have great advantages over their enemies.

Using a shield will make a boss immune to critical hits.

Using a 2-hander will make a boss get a critical hit every time they hit, If they get a roll that would be a critical hit normally, then their damage is tripled.

During a battle, you will fight for objectives, leading up to a boss fight. There are different ranks of bosses, from Lieutenants up to the Overlord. All of them range in difficulty from being able to 1v1 the boss, to having to have an entire group to fight him.

More will be discussed once we get more people interested. And more will be planned. There is still much to be determined. Such as:

The zone in which this will take place.

The Alliance General

What sort of progression will be available and how this will be made fair.

Advantages to the losing team so that once a team gets ahead they don't become unstoppable.

More is to be decided and changed as we progress and hopefully gain members.



This whole RP will be military based, and does not really have a back story. It has as much of a back story as any other battle zone between teh Horde and Alliance. This is a war for land, suppplies, power. It is a open Arathi Basin, or Warsong Gulch. Just with many twists. Think of it as a RP Alterac Valley. You must gather supplies to better gear your troops and assure victory in the upcoming battles. You will fight for mines, lumber mills, farms, what ever the land holds that can be of use to you.

Each control point in the zone will have its own advantages, and I will personally be keeping track of resources, and what sort of upgrades are available. There are different classes among each side that are very similar.

Soldier - The obvious backbone of your sides power. These are the ones that will do the battles. Everyone will take up roll as a soldier, and will have one of the following as a secondary title.

Miner - Is exactly what it says it is. Once the soldiers gain control of a mine, these men and women will get to work gathering supplies from them to bring back for upgrades such as better armor or weapons.

Lumber worker -Simply put, these workers will work at lumber yards once the soldiers have secured them. This will give a resource income for buildings such as:

Guard Towers
Base Defenses
Siege Equipment
Workshops
Forward Bases

Builder - A builder will construct with the materials brought from lumber yards, many things including those listed above.

Blacksmith - They will use the supplies from mines to construct and upgrade weapons and armor.

Medic/Engineer - If a soldier wishes they may become a medic or an engineer. Both these units will be in charge of tending to the wounded on the battlefield, and fixing up damaged buildings/siege equipment.

Much of this I am sure will be changed in the near future, so keep an eye and please consider joining the RP and helping me set things up!

Just trying to get the word out.
I am not trying to be annoying, It just seems i never get feedback on any of my ideas, I am just trying to get atleast one response to it regarding it being a good idea...
