Arrogance. She supposed that was a good explanation on why she decided to come to a meeting with a life-long enemy lacking her normal guard. Too assured of her own abilities, despite being defeated once already. She would have dwelled further on that matter had she not been thrown back several yards by the explosion that easily ripped through her flimsy wards. She slammed into the cobblestones after her brief little flight, head impacting against the rough ground with an audible crack as flames rippled along her form.

She was given little respite, immediately dragged back to conciousness by her second assailant as the woman laid a delicate hand on her chest- Vylaria's lips parted in a wordless scream as tendrils of darkness connected the two, her eyes rolling back as her body writhed pathetically on the embers beneath her. The feeling of being literally pulled from her body was the opposite of pleasant, and the fact she was incapable of stopping the other Sin'dorei was no comfort. Her screaming finally ended as her now lifeless form drops back to the ground, head bouncing off the cobblestones as the other Sin'dorei stood up, her fingers curling about the small, dark-colored shard in her palm.

Terrified. That was the best way to put how she was feeling as she was once more pulled forth from the small gem, yanked from her recent housing to once more return to the world of flesh and blood. She was not even aware of how much time had passed, for such things were warped in the crystal that had been her forced place of residence. Pain was the next thing. But with the pain came all the other sensations she had been missing for Light knows how long- the heave of her chest as she gasps for breath, such a simple task rendered monumental as her mind struggles to keep up with this new development. Her eyes would snap open- an action she'd soon regret as she lets out a cry of pain, not used to such a light as she turns her head to the side, squeezing her lids shut once more.

In the chaos that now took place within her mind, one thought managed to wrest it's way to the fore; She was alive. And with that, she managed to collapse back into blissful unconcioussness.
