Conquest of the Horde

I was thinking, and I recalled something I'd once seen. We all recall those pesky spells Rain of Fire, Pyroblast, and fireball, right? They're simple (well, at least fireball is) and people don't tend to think much of them. I looked at them closer...

If you examine the following you can see that the fire is surrounding a ball of rock. Just something I found interesting, and relevant. It wouldn't seem so hard to conjure rocks, looking at this :O

Mother of God.

Flaming Rocks.

Electrified Crushing Wave!

Frostfire Bolts!

Blizzard!

This all makes sense now! Mages are the true masters of the elements; we have went beyond just using one element to using hybrids in our spells!

...Honestly, have any of you ever rolled a Mage that used either of these spells, or are you just arguing for the removal of freedoms that you never even used?

What spells? Fireball and Rain of Fire? I have. Or were you referring to something else that I didn't realize XD?

I was referring to throwing around Arcane Lightning Bolts, and stuff directly related to Wind and Fire.

I've seen people do arcane lightning before, which I don't really mind. Wind I haven't seen, and that's not really -my- wish, so I won't comment about it, but I do know the character that I'd like to play uses spells revolving around the earth element.

And I still want to make a mage based around acidic and corrosive spells.

But to be honest I made an acid mage at one point and was approved to do so and then only to be told acid is too complex for magic to make as a weapon.
