This is a story of a girl born not long before the Draenei's taking of the Exodar... but in her short life, many things have happened to her. She was born not long before the Draenei attacked the Elves, and took the Exodar. She was but a year old when her mother died of sickness. She was left an orphan, and lived as such. She had a lot of friends simply because she and the other orphans had one major thing in common.

When the time came for the attack, she was barely old enough to think for herself. She ran as fast as she could with the other children. They had a plan, and she was supposed to be taken care of by the older children. But everything happened so fast, and it seemed that everyone was too busy trying to stay with the matron to notice a single little girl trip and fall.

By the time she got back to her hooves, she couldn't find anyone. She saw Draenei, sure... but no one she knew. Everyone she saw, was either fighting, or dieing... or even dead. So she did what anyone in that situation would do at her age... she put her hands over her eyes, and started crying.

Honestly, no one... not even an elf was going to try to kill a tiny Draenei child alone and crying... but accidents happen. She had her eyes covered, and just behind her an elf and Draenei were fighting. The elf was a mage, and decided that his magic throwing wasn't enough... he chanted a spell, and raised his hands... fire began raining down in the small area around him.

Lilly just happened to be within this area... and she didn't even notice what was happening. It seemed over for her, no one to help her, fire smashing all around... not to mention what would happen to her if she wasn't with the rest of them when the ship left?

It was just then, that someone grabbed her, hoisted her up, and ran off with her. She kicked and screamed, but calmed down once she noticed she was being taken away from the fight... not only that, but from being slung over their shoulder she had a big wagging tail within her view. She looked around, trying to see where they were going. It seemed to be towards the ships but she couldn't tell. She didn't want to see it anymore, so she just closed her eyes.

When the noise had stopped, and she was set down, she slowly opened them. She looked around at the strange place. She had never seen anything like it. It was so clean, and so... strange. Whoever had brought her here, was towering in front of her, facing away from her. They were facing the entrance, seeming ready to fight anyone who came in... but over time, Draenei after Draenei ran inside. After a while... the doors began to close.

She frantically looked around for her friends, and the matron... but couldn't find any of them. She started to cry again, having no idea where they could be. As the doors shut, her savior threw her blade off to the side. She dropped back net to her, picking her up and cradling her. She cried herself to sleep... but it was a short sleep.

She awoke to what felt like an earthquake. She was once again being carried. She was being held like a baby this time, and was able to see the other Draenei's face. She was pretty to her... she saw her white hair, and her dark skin. She looked a lot like herself...

She reminded her of what everyone told her that her mother looked like. She cuddled close, feeling safe with her. She closed her eyes, wincing at every explosion, and every shaking. She was taken somewhere... she didn't know where. It sounded like a door closed, and then the sounds were muffled. She heard other voices, a few men and women talking amongst themselves, about what was happening... and, children. She heard other children, crying, and talking to someone. She opened her eyes to see... all her friends, and the matron... all safe.

She was too tired to say anything, to let them know she was here, and alright. She closed her eyes, somehow managing to fall asleep. She didn't wake up... for what seemed like forever.

When her eyes finally did open, everything was quiet. She yawned, and moved around, noticing that she was still being held. But they weren't moving. nothing was moving around her. She couldn't see anything though, it was all too dark. She waited there, for something... for someone to wake up, for someone to save her... but it seemed like it wasn't going to happen. She felt her way to the others face. She poked her, getting no response. She kept poking her, wondering what was wrong. Maybe she was just really tired?

"Hello? Please wake up..."

She shook them, but there was nothing. Finally, she grabbed onto the persons tail, and yanked it. They twitched, but only slightly. She guessed they really were just too tired.

She cuddles back up against them, waiting...

It was hours, before the door was forced open. Light poured in and hurt her eyes, but she was glad to see the familiar forms of other Draenei. She looked around the room... now that she could see everything. It seemed others had woken, and had been silently waiting as she was. Some weren't moving yet though. She looked at all her friends and the matron, and was happy to see they were all moving about, some already standing.

She then turned to the one that had saved her. She didn't seem to be sleeping right... her mouth was slightly open, and she wasn't moving at all. She was quickly forced away from her, once the matron realized she was even there.

As she sat outside, she saw Draenei after Draenei being carried out... they all seemed really hurt. Some were still sleeping... finally, she saw her savior brought out. They had her on a stretcher... there was that red stuff she hated so much everywhere. As they carried her out last, and headed off... everyone followed. She ran after those that were carrying her and stuck close, even as they tried to tell her to stay away.

They reached a camp, where others had gathered. There were people helping everyone that was hurt, her savior amongst them soon. She stayed with her, watching as a priest tended to her. As he finished, she tugged on his robe, stopping him from leaving.

"Is... she going to wake up soon?"

"Yes child... she is just sleeping right now."

She smiles, and watched her for a long while. When the day had passed, she still sat... watching. She yawned, not being able to keep herself up anymore. She slowly put her head down on her chest, using her as a pillow. She liked that sound... the thumping, and the air rushing through her. She closed her eyes, and quickly fell asleep.

When morning came, she awoke to someone playing with her hair... She lifted her head, to finally fully see the face of the one that had saved her. She was smiling at her, and running her hand through her hair.

"You are all better now?"

"Yes dear... I am fine."

She smiled and hugged her, thanking her for rescuing her. It was then, that the matron came, and took her away for a bit while the two grown Draenei talked. When she came back, she introduced her to the lady.

"Lilly... this woman who saved you is named Liana. And she wants to be your new mother."

She didn't know what to say... she didn't even really know what that meant. How could this lady be her mother? She already had one that had left her a long time ago... She simply smiled and nodded, both the other two understanding that she... well, didn't.

It was from then on, that she left her friends. And stayed with Liana. She was spoiled, that was for sure... but she knew that was because her new mom was just a great person! She had the best clothes from all of those new peoples cities. And had all the food and toys she could dream of!

Sometimes she would be left in the care of the matron again... while her mother had to go work. But she was always back before the day was over. After a couple years, they moved to the human city, Stormwind. They have lived there for a couple years, happily... and that is where her story ends, and her legacy begins.
