So, new feedback thread.

I feel as if my characters are bland, uninteresting, 2D, terribad, blah blah blah. I'm honestly finding it very hard to even get the will to role-play some of my characters and even then, I end up sitting away from everyone else because I as if my character is inferior. I'd like advice with what I can do to make them more unique or fun, or should I just wipe them all out and try to start from scratch? It's getting to the point where I just don't even log onto CotH, because day-dreaming about the role-play is better than actually doing it.

Also, I'd like feedback about my Forum Monkey status. Am I too nit-picky? Not enough? Juuust right? Lazy or workin' hard? Let me know!
Y U SNIPE ALL WORK. And I lol'd when I saw that pic.

But dammit McKnub, you have interesting characters! My only complaint is that we need moar Redis conflict. Mor Redis conflict ees gewd for many. Except those he terrorizes. I think.

But when you're not busy you should arpee moar. We needs a McKnub.
I hear a lot of good things about you from c0r and Sachiko, but we rarely RP. I guess we should RP moar idk.
MICKEY. Dino wants a rematch >:[

Despite seeing you plenty, we clearly do not RP enough :C By far I only know Redis and Noria from the brief RPs we had, but I love them both. They draw me in with an air of mystery they have.

There is also Baidin, which I have great interest, but I seem to keep missing you everytime you're on him ;^;

Needs moar RP, dammit.
Bump!

Specifically looking for feedback on Krian, as he's slowly working into my 'main'. He's gone under a bit of a rehaul from pre-restart so... Was wondering if I'm doing it right! Other characters are open for feedback, but I haven't been able to spend much time into them.
Telendrin here, personally I thought he was fine, although I think you could of made him a bit more..reactive? I kind of felt like he didn't notice my character's presence at all, all that may be my humility viciously killing itself.
Aye, my attention was split in other things during that time. I'll make sure to limit myself next time. :)
I personally like the way you play Krian. He's got that 'commanding officer' type of feel to him but not in the way that it's all in your face like "hurhurhur im ur superi0rz and b3ttar than you lululul. now shine my boots."
Offended, all of my authoritive character's are like that.
I haven't RPed with Krian very much but do think highly of you as an RPer from our previous times on that other Private Server.

Something that strikes me about Krian however, over your previous characters, is that he's very much a suit of plate. I realise he has to be utterly professional as a Master, but I enjoyed the more casual chat Sari and him had last night (even if it was filled with Sirs and Masters), and, if you don't initiate that kind of RP yourself, maybe you should! It might give you an excuse to explore some other dimensions of your character that you maybe haven't had the chance to yet.
Le Bumps.

Once again, trying to figure out the balance between forced professionalism and Krian's normally relaxed, laid-back attitude. Should I tighten him up, or let him loosen up a bit more? Now that he's a Champion, I'm very curious about how he's looking to you all. I feel like I haven't really been able to open his character up to anyone besides Shinayne. :(

Also, I know some of you gave positive feed back on the events along with the experimental system I put in. Any other thoughts on that? :)

Well she does have that effect on the living. MOAR BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!

Kidding aside...or should I say Killing? Hug

Shinayne can and does push social boundaries a little more than the average Blood Knight under Krian's command. She doesn't have to worry about military etiquette other than being respectful to his position; therefore, he doesn't have to either. It is totally understandable that he -would- relax the wall o'plate persona around her when they are alone.

Regarding his relationship with his regiment I can only speak for what I have witnessed. You play a leader very well. His say is final and you make his decisions quickly and confidently. He does come off as aloof which may appear cold and even distant. However, that is normal for any commander. He's very believable as a veteran and a ranking officer. That aloofness gives him an air of unquestionable authority. He's not your friend. He's not your confidant. And he's certainly not your daddy. Perhaps to the chagrin of some of the ladies, he is also not your boyfriend. 99 problems...

I would be remiss to only shower you with praise though. So...

If you want him to be open to more characters then allow it to happen. It can be subtle and it can be random, but make Krian available for other characters to get to know. Granted, I am writing this during a group rp session we have on Skype so perhaps this little bit is void. /shrug

Events! Why are they always out of da blue, mon? I do enjoy them and trust me when I say I bail on other things IG to make it when "Event in 1 hr!" booms through the BK chat. At least in terms of storyline events a little more warning would be nice. I know your schedule sucks and I am sympathetic...but, boo.

P.S.

Complete with internal arguing, doofiness, and a snooty magister taking up a report.
