So, the winds of change have hit the server, and events are moving slowly but surely towards Cataclysm. And I know a lot of people are excited about the new races for CotH roleplay that will be made available come this next expansion. On CotH, I've really come to enjoy playing characters who are defined by major changes in their lives, (especially with a certain someone coping with being the walking dead) and Worgen seem like a whole new adventure in turning a character's world upside down.
The only thing is, I'd like a chance to play a character like this both before and after such a traumatic event as being turned into a giant talking dogmonster. And I'd like to do it with CotH people in the CotH canon. (Seeing as there's no actual Gilneas zone in WotlK, it would pretty much have to occur in the form of IC forum posts) The first part of the Worgen starting quests occur a year before the events of Cataclysm, so it seems like now's the perfect time to start playing future Worgens if we were to flesh them out nicely and follow the Server's timeline.

But that's all a hypothetical. Now I ask of y'all what would need to happen to make this possible, if you question if it even should occur, and, of course, if anyone is interested enough to participate.
If you do this then I shall have to immediatly join. Because the character I'm making now, Noral Thane, I wanted to be a worgen hunter, but as the server is not cataclysm, I settled for Human ranger [rogue]. But if this is done, I shall hold off on creating him and make instead a worgen!
I'd probably be interested.
I believe that this must be done immediatly
I'd be down for this as Rowgen is. We have plans.
Sounds... exciting!
Aye, I'm in.
Wow, a lot of interest!
I suppose I'll go collect information for a pre-Cata Gilneas guide and start devising an Event Planning thread.

Anyone have strong feelings about where the RP would take place? Gilneas City of course is an interesting setting, but being in a rural location makes it more flexible.
Bah, I'm not sure if I should be asking this in Event Planning, or if I need more info before making a thread there. There are so many variables. XD
One of the larger cities. Maybe Keel Harbor?
I just can't make this happen. Personal stuff hit me like a brick. If anyone wants to pursue this, I give you my blessing.
Sounds like a good idea. :).
