TLE Presents: The Sports Fair!


In honor of 2012 London Olympics, the next TLE festival will be a Sports fair! On August 6 to August 9 from 1:00-4:00 PM Server, The Love Exchange will be hosting games at Steamwheedle Port in Tanaris. Participants will be representing the Alliance and the Horde as they participate for honor and glory!

The Sports Fair will have the following games:


              July 30: Obstacle Course Race

              July 31: Archery / Magic Competition (combination event)

              August 1: Log Birling

              August 2: Jousting


How to play are here!


DA RULES:

• You can have more than one character participate in any sport, but you cannot roleplay more than one character in the same event. In other words, no multiboxing within the competitions themselves allowed!
  
• Keep IC conflict out of the competition grounds. Fighting is also prohibited or else guards will come by and kick your bums out permanently.
  
• Absolutely no alcohol IC.
  
• Standard COTH rules. No metagaming, no powergaming, blah blah blah.

If you wish to sign-up, please reply to this thread by declaring which character will be participating in what event and for what faction (DO NOT PM ME, PLEASE). Once your name(s) is/are accepted, please prepare a macro for /roll 10 before the events' start.

Xanthe will humbly compete in the ARCHERY COMPETITION.

Clovis would like to sign up for Jousting for the Glory of the Alliance!

....Also, not entirely sure if I misunderstood, but can one character apply for only one competiton? Cause if not, Sign Cloves up for the Obstacle Course too!

Varjot Soulsear will represent the Horde in the Archery/Magic Competition!

Norael will joust for the Horde! Or for herself. That's A-okay too. (Since it's so far away though, anything could happen between now and then. I'll let you know if something changes!)

Expect Strifium Flamefeather (Blood Elf) to participate in the Magic Competition.

Kaerith Sabersong will be running for the Alliance in the Obstacle Course Race!

Dhorgun the Younger of Clan Warsong will proudly represent the Horde in the Archery Competition.

And being once upon a time a woodsman, and having been an enthusiast for the sport in life, Executor Jared Richter of the Black Harvest will be participating in the log birling.

He will also be riding in the full colours of the Undercity in the Joust. BRING IT, DALARAN BOY.

Yes, you can enter your character in more than one competition--you just can't have two or more characters in that same competition (so for instance, you can't enter Clovis AND Varjot in the Obstacle Course).


Added Caravan, Clovis, Kenshiro, and Sols' characters into the list! Felix will be on standby should he decide which competition he'll have Norael join.

Oh no, I meant to sign up for the Jousting. I just meant that, anything could come between me and the event, and I may not be able to participate! So I'm just saying to be prepared, incase I have to dip out.

If players wish, I can do what I did during the Love Festival for those who can't make it to the daytime event: Repeat the same event a second time on the same day. I'll only do it if players who really wish to join the games but cannot during the day Server Time would actually come. A working time is 10 PM.
