Mm.

I'll say then that I don't really think I would advocate in-game representation, then. When we make RP spots we want people to be able to get into them without too much fuss; making one to fulfill a certain kind of RP (and one in which most normal characters would be unable to participate) is something I can't really see myself supporting.

Forum RP by all means, but I believe bringing that over in-game itself would just be making a location catering to a small, very secluded group; if that makes any sense.
I can only echo Rigley. It's a very specific type of RP you're going for, and on top of it being rather secluded, I just can't see it getting much use. Like you guys have said, Forum RP is okay with me, but translating it into an in-game RP location just doesn't seem like the effort would be worth the use it would get. The characters inside the wall wouldn't ever interact with anyone outside of the wall, effectively closing them off from everyone.
I do understand the concerns of exclusivity and the closed nature a specific location would entail...
I'm not trying to be hard-headed about the whole issue, its just that a friend of mine made me realize just how bad I am at forum RP. (heh heh)

So just one more question: is RPing on the server as characters behind the Greymane wall using existing locales and our own imagination out of the question, as well?
I'm not certain, to be entirely sure, as I've heard that there's been -something- to that effect done in the past.

But I personally wouldn't wish to make a new area for the purpose of it, since it'd be a narrow and enclosed RP. So that's all I meant to say, I think.
