To Kretol (Or any GM who knows about this):

What is the deal with the deathknights once the new Emu comes out in a few months? I have of course heard from plenty of players that it won't be RP-able, but I want to hear it from a GM. Will it be a big no-no on the RP of deathnuts, a prestige class sort of thing with GM trainers, Is it still undecided, or do you not want to release info right now?

Please locktopic this when you have answered so there is no Rumorizing.
The Deathnuts--I mean, Death Knights will likely only be available for certain players that the GMs feel they can trust with the immense power and lore they have. Stay tuned for more info.

As far as the emulator itself, I'll tell you what I've told everyone who has asked: First, WotLK has to be released. Then, it has to be dissected by the crazy geniuses at ARC Emu (or whatever we run on now), and TONS of totally new gameplay additions are going to have to be emulated. THEN people have to test them, crash their servers a few thousand times, the emulator has to be fixed a kajillion times, and THEN they have to announce that they're pretty sure it's stable. At that time, Kretol will decide if he wants to test it out. Then he'll decide if he thinks it's stable enough for our server (remember, we've got loads of uptime and we're happy about it!). AFTER ALL THAT, we MIGHT be upgraded. MAYBE. Don't hold your breath. Meanwhile on the live servers people will have been skipping around Northrend for months, probably. That's my estimation.

Also, baby talk and lack of capitalization for proper nouns (like names) is almost as bad as having a title in all caps. You heard it here first, kids.
