Just recently installed WoW, got it up to 3.3.5a and all of that jazz, set up my account, and tried logging on. Whenever I attempt to connect, I get this message;

"Your account is authorized for Wrath of the Lich King expansion, but the computer you are playing on does not contain Wrath of the Lich King data. To play on this machine with this account, you must install the Wrath of the Lich King. Additional data is available at:[worldofwarcraft.com/lichking/download].

So after trying to log in several times, I went into my account management and changed my permissions to TBC, started up WoW, and logged in perfectly fine.
No clue why I cannot get WotLK access though, any suggestions on how to fix this?
Whatever WoW folder you're using does not have WotLK data. If you've ever played on a BC private server, that could possibly be why. At any rate, I would suggest to check the Downloads section of the site here and download the complete WoW folder option and use that for playing on CotH (and other WotLK servers)!
For some reason my WotLK disc didn't feel like putting the lichking.mpq file on. Either way, installed Wrath off of the installer, data was there, and I'm logging in fine now.
Awesome!
