I don't know what to say.
What bothers me more is that WoW seems so half-committed to the idea that the worgen form is their "true" form. Most Worgen art depicts them without tails, yes, but making it fact that they 100% of the time don't just... I mean, look at all the crazy stuff some feral druids can wind up turning into and such- why would a worgen druid grow a tail in bear form?

I don't really see what the big deal is, either way, but I find the fact that they don't 100% of the time makes it feel like more like Blizzard is tiptoeing around the specifics of the curse. Its somehow relating to some kind of fel corruption relating to Goldrinn the wolf, its safe to assume, but what happened to the druid magic make it a curse? Does this mean that all Worgen have fel taint? Why did it make them werewolf analogues instead of just wolves? Why is the transformation so consistent?

o <- the ball on Worgen lore. It will join the Draenei ball at the bottom of my post here. -> o
...I never ever heard of a fel taint. Where'd you get that from?
It has nothing to do with fel, the curse was created when they tried taming the pack form's rage with Elune's light, channeled through Goldrinn's tooth. The Scythe of Elune created the curse itself.

Worgen lore is fine, imo. Then again, I've also read the comics and books, where they actually cover some of these questions.
