It's called new characters lol. I am personally quite often making new characters to try out new styles and such... I'm quite the alt lover. So most often I forget to grab goggles. It's just like putting my password in. It's a normal routine for me but I still make a lot of errors. It's uncommon for me to get my password right the first time because I am moving through the log in process so fast because I have done it so many times, thus I make more mistakes. Same with making characters. I have made so many that I think it simple and gear is the first thing I look at followed by the need of any haircuts and then mounts and by that time I'm ready to get out and RP. Goggles are only in the back of my mind at that point.

Point being... not talking about deleting or losing goggles. We're talking about making a character and setting them up and going out to RP, and having forgotten to get a pair of goggles in the first place.
Would it perhaps be possible to use the goggle item spell effect as a learnable (and right-click removeable) spell?
That would eliminate the need for goggles altogether. Not sure the limits of "making" new spells is with this core, though.
I think that would just have the same problem. Sure it would eliminate the threat of deleting the goggles, but you still need that initial training of the spell which is the equivalent to having to buy the goggles really. If you forget it you forget it lol.
