So I've recently made a new character that is a mage, and while I love the concept I came up with for him, I am completely lost as far as the usage of Arcane goes.
By reading guides here on CoTH, I only managed to learn:
-The 4 rules of magic (powerful, corrupts, etc.);
-The different schools of magic;
-Mages cast spells! Woo!
-Something about Ley Lines.
...which is to say, not a lot. How do mages cast their spells, exactly? Do they chant them, summon them with gestures, or do they use some other technique? How does magic work (I know where it comes from, but that's about it)? Etc. I'm basically a 0 at this, so any kind of help would be appreciated, as well as pointers to material to read up about this. I think The Last Guardian touched on some aspects, but it's been a while since I read it.
