Is it bad I actually got a giggle out of that and it made me dial back my frustration?
Not sure if this is still going on, but if this is a local problem with just you not liking how your model is portrayed, you can always look into using a custom patch that swaps the model for you which I am faiiiiirly certain is possible.

Of course this would only change it on your client.

Probably a really bad suggestion because, to my knowledge, it'd replace -every- male model so...

It was a suggestion. And as far as solutions go, I believe nobody's unwilling to hear suggestions.

I was just saying, because if there was such a thing it'd probably change X races model or something, which means even if it's clientside everyone who's X race male or whatever would display as that.

Edit:Even if it was just an alternate sort of model, I.E one that made human males skinnier or something, every NPC and other player would show up as that and that's just silly.
Can't you just make a macro with an emote that describes it... or have a copy that you could whisper to people who RP with you so they would know how your char looks like... that should fix it fairly easily...

Haven't red other 5 or 4 pages, so no idea if it was suggested.
Okay, so here's the issue.

I shouldn't have to publicly say "yes, I do have a character that is gender-queer and wish to change models". I shouldn't have to post links to real medical conditions. I shouldn't have to defend my designs. I shouldn't have to defend or justify my character and no one should have to defend or justify their character.

We've stated a few times over in this thread that our ruling is settled as it is with one gender, one identity characters, Sachiko. If your character does not fall into that category then that means we're open to discussion. In this thread that has been reiterated on in multiple posts. Because of that, no, you did not need to say publically that your character is genderqueer. You did not need to post medical conditions. But justifying characters is a very important thing- without justification (context), a character doesn't stand on much.

To that end, if I had known this was an issue I would have advised you to take it to the private discussion forums. Or another GM. But we've made clear that we want context when discussing this issue, and as it stands we've had four pages already of talking over a circumstance which now doesn't really apply to your situation at all. I believe we are more than welcoming to have this discussion, but the way this topic was pitched to us does not line up to what's actually going on. And that's why we're at this point.
If given a chance if no resolution is resolved over forum discussion, I would like to try and chat with GMs over Skype. I can bring in a few other supporters and we can all discuss it without the dread of waiting on posts and writing down walls and coming off as aggressive or what.

I've had my super calm down time, so I apologize if I came off as rude and/or hostile, guys. Sometimes i get too emotional for my own good.
I am open to discussing things where appropriate. I can't guarantee an immediate resolution because GM opinion may be a factor, but feel free to drop me a line whenever and we can arrange a conversation, if you find that preferable.

That said, this thread can keep going. As I said, we haven't blocked off any chance of this happening, I just want to see suggestions on how to make such a process, if it exists, smooth while being respectful to people on both sides of the table.
