ATTENTION CoTH!

We have decided to open up account creation to the visitor rank. The reasons we did this are actually quite logical. First and foremost, we are not operating at peak performance. So when someone goes through the process of writing an introduction, then they have to wait however long to get approved, they come here, and see that we do not offer the things that they probably have heard about from us. This is something that we know really frustrates people.

Another reason is that we GMs have a really hard time making time to go through all the introductions, approve them, then change over the usergroups, and all the other steps that go along with that. It's -really- easy to get behind on those, and for that, we apologize.

The final reason is something that we know for a fact. People come back when they are denied, and make another introduction anyhow. This is not news to us, as it's pretty simple to find out things like this. So really, the system has not been keeping people out as we had hoped. The people who we are talking about, know who they are, and so do we. Don't worry, you can stay, but you really didn't get away with anything.

So, again, the account creation option is available to Visitors. Hopefully, this will let people see our server and test it out, without having to jump through hoops and discover this isn't what they want. Enjoy!

Kretol will update this when it's actually in effect. Thanks for your patience!
Finally
Im happy you (the GM team) have decided to do this. But I'd like to suggest something: only let visitors go up to level 20 or something like that. So they can try out the server, but not more than that, only trying it out.
The game account creation process should now be updated to properly reflect this.
As an update, please be sure to read the Introductions sticky as well as following post for further information.

In brief, an intro post is required, but you do not -have- to flesh it out immediately. Again, read that thread!
