Okay, I just got my 2 2gb RAM cards in the mail. When I put them in my computer and start it up, my monitors don't respond. When I put one of the new ones in and one of my old 512mb cards in, it registers that is have 2.5gb of RM but only uses the 512mb of it. So it runs half as fast as when I have the 2 512 cards in. Anyone good with computers know a fix so I can get my 4gb of RAM working? D:
Well, some kinds of RAM aren't always compatible with some computers. There's a laptop and desktop version for each sort of RAM. You might have bought the wrong sort. Check your box to see which kind it is.
It's basically the exact same kind that I have now, except a bigger memory size. It's the DDRS or whatever it's called.
Ah, I think you might have pulled the secret epicfail of RAM. :P
If possible can I get the following info from ya?

- Model of the Motherboard
- Model of the RAM
- Direct weblinks if possible to both RAM and Motherboard
- Age of the computer (Not RAM)
- Did you self build it or buy it as a set?
