After alot of thinking, Roobald and me has decided to reorganize the way we publish the Azerothian Voice (that we only have published once so far, by the by).

Using the Gryphonheart Items Addon, the AV will now exist as an ingame item!
The Newspaper will consist of a frontpage that, when clicked, both displays the Frontpage and opens a bag with every separate case as a separate piece of paper, for easier browsing at the whim of the Buyer.

There are a few reasons for why we settled for this solution:

1. Time
Doing a full issue in Photoshop takes alot of time, and neither of us are willing to spend that much on a regular basis when we could rather be doing something far more interesting with those hours. The way it's organized now, we'll get to create the issues ingame, and we'll get to create them much faster! With this system, we can see something interesting and have the issue up in an hour or two, rather than in a weeks time.

2. Roleplay
With the new system, there won't only be gnomes running around, pestering people to buy their newspapers at obscenely high prices - There'll also be the opportunity to gather IC information trough the AV, read it ingame, and use it for.. Well, whatever people normally use them for. In addition to that, there'll be chances for people to sign up as newspaper sellers, and various other ingame posts that doesn't involve writing.

3. The Bad Sides
Our Characters will not always be as long and fulfilling, and they will not be accessible out-of-game. In order to get ahold of a copy, you'll have to both download the addon (Gryphonheart Items, that we feel is so great that most people should get it in either case,) and you'll have to bother either a newspaper seller, or somebody that's bought a copy themselves. We'll also lose the opportunity to add anything but very basic pictures (read, Icons) to our reports.

With that said, it currently seems to us that the good sides outweight the bad sides. We'll try to get an issue out in the near future as an experiment, and hope that it'll work out for the better!

Regards,
Roobald and Hogral.
How is having to download Gryphonheart Items and popping it into your addons folder a Bad side?
Some people don´t download that kind of stuff for various reasons (virus, bad connection, comp-owner disagreeing to name a few).

I´m exited to see thins going on, got some ideas I could pitch you guys later about it too!
