Hey! That glowcap is cool. And now that I think about it, there are things like Spongy Morel that I forgot all about.

I have to go mow the yards, but keep on thinking and I'll add more when I get back.

EDIT: ok! I added the glowcap. :)
The info here is great and indeed really helpfull but do these things apply in-game ICly?

And if they do ahm one of my toons is working on a IC book kind of an encyclopedia called "A gathering of knowledge". Would it be ok if he used some of the info here? Perhaps adding an OOC note about where the info comes from?
How do you make a plant into a poison? Like, how would I make ghost mushroom into a poison to coat my weapons with?
Such would take intricate knowledge of plants. Most doctors and herbalists could create some sort of poison, if you really asked them.
Surprised liferoot isn't here. Well, I have some input on it. Some of my people use it in potions combined with peacebloom and bloodthistle. The elixir is to replenish enough energy to stay alive until proper medics can tend to them. But that's about it. Oh! I make people eat small pieces of it to try and keep energy and strength in them.

Not sure if this fits, but this can be used as a laxative, as demonstrated by this quest.
Assuming the author of this topic is no longer active. Might it be alright to start this up in a new topic and maintain new uses for herbs and whatnot?
I personally see no problems with this as long as credit is given and a link to the original post is abundantly clear.
Felweed
Uses: Smoked. Produces a thick, green acrid smoke.
Effects: Distortion of perception, especially of time. Makes the user feel euphoric, energetic, talkative, and mentally alert, especially to the sensations of sight, sound, and touch. (Think marijuana laced with cocaine.) It can also temporarily decrease the need for food and sleep. Overdoses can result in cardiac arrest.
Withdrawal: Can include tremors, chills, and paranoia.

Can this be sold illegaly? In like Booty Bay Boardwalk or whatever for RP purposes?
I'd say so long as you didint get caught? I dont know if this would actually be deemed illegal or not though. It probably isint illegal in Outland. I think you'd more have to worry on the Goblins in booty bay not taking kindly to the competition.

Edit: ANYWAYS, gona make a new topic for this now.
Oh okay, I thought it would be not allowed in CotH. Because I guess it would regard Drug Abuse?
There's a fine line between discussing drug use OOCly and utilizing it ICly. I believe that the latter is allowed, but only as it occurs within the context of roleplay.

ICly I've done so quite a bit. As with Rensin using silverleaf in cigarettes, to give 'em that minty flavor and to add a bit of an edge.

Or elves and bloodthissle.

I -do- have to question Ratchet "White" though. Where did we get that from?
I can't ever recall hearing of it before, either in-game or in the roleplaying guides. Perhaps it's fan-created?

Edit: The guide is from three years ago. For all we know, someone could've created it and then asked to have it incorporated into the guide based on his own roleplaying concepts. Just a bit before my time!
Maybe Krent or Siv brought the infamous "White" here. /shrug
