I have an interest in making one of my characters transcribe a book with information on different races of Demons. The only question is, where would books containing this sort of information be if they existed? Would they be available to the public? What sort of demons do the Alliance -not- know about? Etc etc. Any information would be helpful.
The Draenei have handy computer terminals in the Exodar that talk about different sorts of demons.
Would that really be the extent of the general knowledge? I've seen those before but they're pretty limited.
I consider them the most knowledgeable on Demons as a whole, having fought them for far longer than even the oldest Night Elves have been alive. They probably have more information than what the displays say on them, but in a larger database of some sort.

Also, Dalaran would have had books that were lost in the ruin of the city, as well as some Warlocks and practitioners of the dark arts should have written or stolen their own collections of grimoires over the years.
I acually, have a book with a basic bestiary of demonic races. Only to an exten of course, as my Warlock is still working on it. I just wrote down what he would know, what he would find out, and what is possible to learn of.

It seems long, but theres about a page for each one, I used GHI. Good luck to you, and if you ever need help, I'd be willing
Letting your char write books sounds like a great idea to me.
Especially those with info about Demons or other mobs,
or even places or great treassures.

Maybe once (If my intro post is approved) my char will write something like that,
but first he will just write a journal/diary about his adventures and such.
Well, Adele (who would be writing it) is a major bookworm and carries about 5 books with her the majority of the time. I thought a book of Demons would be useful or at least very interesting to her.
Me, and i my char probably too, would like to read them also. :)
