First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player:
Well, let's see. I've been playing games, MMORPGs, and Rolepalying since.. forever. My gaming career started when I got my first Playstation, and started playing games like Lara Croft, Final Fantasy, and all that jazz. My first roleplaying experience came from a few light games of D&D when I was about eight which I later went on to play several campaigns. However my true roleplaying start I would have to say came about five or so years ago on a website called "Gaiaonline" where I first learned text and free-form roleplay. I became hooked and quickly rose my way to the top, learning the importance of grammar, clean fighting, but most importantly creativity and a good storyline.

Since then I continued to play several video games, quickly moving towards PC games (Though I always was still a fan of some good Castlevania and Final Fantasy classics on my PS2) such as Baldurs Gate, Diablo 2, and my favorite of all Warcraft 3. I still have and play Warcraft 3 in fact, mostly on custom games, which I'll soon explain why this is important. Anyways, from playing Warcraft 3 campaigns in single player I quickly fell head over heels in love with the Lore. Rarely have I found Lore so exciting and in depth. It's where I learned to love characters like Illidan (All demon hunters for that matter.) and Sylvanis.

A few years after first playing Warcraft 3 I made the discovery that they had actually made an MMORPG from the Warcraft Lore. At this point I was no stranger to MMOs, seeing as I had played things such as Ragnarok Online at this point (And RPed there was well) and so I was excited. Unfortunately after finally convincing my father how cool the game was so that I could upgrade my computor enough to run it, he decided to get it for himself as well. To make a long story short, he first began playing without me, which was fine, until he demanded I play on his server, join his guild, and run my first character with his, meaning they had to do everything together and when he was on another character and not using that one, I couldn't play. Period. Once again his controlling nature quickly went to spoil something that I could have otherwise enjoyed very much, and I quit WoW. I haven't played WoW since.

Now this is where my continuing love of Warcraft 3 comes in. Lately I've been playing a lot of Lore games on Warcraft 3 custom games. These incluede Lordaeron Tactics, Coming of the Horde (Yes, the very same name as your server. xD), and most recently Strife in the Plaguelands. At first I didn't enjoy Strife at all, but I quickly learned to love it, with all the heros and bases and how well it follows the Lore, which is obvious. But I kept thinking to myself, where is all this Lore!? I want to know about the epic conflict between Scourge and Scarlet Crusade, I want to see firsthand the will of the Scarlets to fight against the undead and the treachery of Balnazzar possessing Saidan, I want to study this lore! And thus as I fell in love with the Scarlet Crusade and asked myself where all this lore was, I already knew the answer. World of Warcraft.

So here I am, looking for a private server to roleplay on and learn all I can, while living out a life in the world I've loved since I could remember. I'm going to give WoW one last shot, and hopefully things will turn out well.

Sorry that was such a run-on "who am I" answer, but I thought I'd just go ahead, be honest, and give a straight answer as to where I am coming from as a player and roleplayer. Besides, nobody will likely read this anyways. xD

What country do you come from? What is your primary language?:
I am from the United States, Kansas to be exact if you know where that is, and I currently speak only english.

How did you get into Warcraft?:
xD I guess I already answered this question in my previous rantings, but I'll give another brief answer. I first got into Warcraft as WC3 (Still need to find, buy, and play the previous games) and unfortunately had some terrible experiences in World of Warcraft which quickly ended my WoW career.

What made you seek our server over others?:
I typed in WoW Private Roleplay Server, and I found this, read some stuff on it (Like the one guy's Demon Hunter story. Still reading it, it's absolutely fantastic.) and decided this was a place I liked and I should try to see what I can do here.

What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
All kinds. You name it, I've probably done it, trust me.

What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
Favorite -Basic- Class is probably a Rogue. Yay for DPS, eh? Favorite race kinda depends, I love the Forsaken due to the storyline, I like the Elves/Bloodelves, and I like humans, but probably only because of the Scarlet Crusade. (See the obsession yet?)

What are your expectations of this server?
I expect a server dedicated to Roleplay that hopefully keeps to Lore.

Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
I appreciate the need to have a basic knowledge of Azeroth and Warcraft Lore and not allowing people to deviate from that too much. It's not like there isn't already a billion things you can do/be in Warcraft lore, especially if you get creative, since every race has so many factions, alliances, and groups to it. Keeps everything lore-centric and should reduce the number of "Fan Fic" characters from series that don't belong. Most of the other rules I am simply used to and are, to me, commonplace.

Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:

Tapping his foot, Rikei sat there waiting, with nothing to do but stare at the clock. It hadn't been more then twenty minutes, and already he was bored out of his skull. As tempted as he was to go find a casino or bar in this city, he knew he was suppose to stay put until Nox got back. So, even though his former worst nightmare was boredom its self, he knew better then to not be here when Nox got back. He still had the scar on his ass where he got shot the last time he did something stupid when she wasn't around. Or was that the time he groped her when they were.. No, that time he got shot in the foot.

Suddenly a knock on the door disturbed his thoughts. Snapping out of his reminiscent thoughts, he grabbed his belt and jacket, throwing the jacket on and clicking the belt around his waist, the colorful bottles hooked on jingling faintly as he got himself together. Cautiously he went to the door, creeping towards it rather then walking. The ex-terrorist was paranoid of everything anyways, but this was especially odd. It was almost midnight and someone was at the door. It couldn't be the only other person who should know he was there, because Nox knew better then to knock. Hell, Nox had a hard time using doors anyways. Seemed Rikei couldn't keep that girl from entering through a window or some such, as they both had their paranoid habits.

Leaning over to the door, he peered through the peephole to see who might be standing outside. What he saw was a big red eye staring right back. An eye that didn't look friendly at all. An eye that looked pissed, like someone he owed money to, or someone who's place he destroyed, or, well, someone who was going to hold him responsible for something bad he did. Probably something very bad.

"Shi-"

Suddenly a volley of gunshots began bursting through the door as Rikei quickly wheeled around to the side of the door. Without a moment's hesitation he ripped a bottle off his belt and began shaking it viciously, but keeping track of every shake. Running into the room he grabbed his duffel bag and threw it over his shoulder. Nox already took her stuff with the bike, and all Rikei had left outside the bag was his change of clothes from his shower earlier. Well, obviously they would have to be left behind. On the bright side, at least he wasn't naked this time.

Running to the window he kicked the bottom pane out, using his boot to kick out all the large shards of glass left in it. Just as the window was mostly clear, the shooting stopped and he heard the loud thud of someone smashing against the door. Finally Rikei tossed the bottle of now fizzing red liquid towards the door and ducked out the window onto the narrow ledge.

"C'mon man.. Jump.. Jump!"

And jump he did, down off the second story windowledge and onto the rough pavement below. Grimacing as he fell, he heard the door bust in behind him before he landed. Ignoring the pain of his hard landing, he got up and rushed forward, looking for a place to find some cover, counting as he ran.

"Three.. two.." CRACK!

The explosion burst out the side of the building, a little stronger then Rikei had intended. Glass and splinters rained down from the now destroyed second floor room. Hopefully the explosion had killed his direct pursuers, though if there were more they might have others still around downstairs and outside. He wasn't out of the clear yet. But just as he was getting ready to run and make a mad dash to safety, he heard the beautiful roar of a nearby Ducati. And right on que, Nox came rearing around the corner on her bike like a bat out of hell. Rikei ran out to where she could see him, and she stopped just long enough to give a sharp look, grab him, and pull him onto the back of the bike. Rikei wrapped his arms around Nox's waste and took one last look back at his handiwork before Nox revved the engine of the bike and the two took off into the night.

Is there anything else you would like to add, ask, or otherwise clarify?:
I'm wondering what kind of help if any can be done to help a character join an affiliation or help cater to who the character is. I'll probably bring this up more when I actually make the character application (Which I'm about to) but I'm hoping my character can belong to a group that most wouldn't try to belong to, if it is allowed, and how to work that if it can be worked at all. Anyways, since there is nothing else, I'll go get to work on an application. =3

Edit: I actually believe I may need to contact a GM for my character and it's concept, I maybe not but it's better to talk to one and be safe rather then sorry.
I am not exactly sure what you mean by groups, but I know in the past people have made IC guilds of the Defias Brotherhood and whatnot, so its quite possible to be "inside" a faction in secret, without Stormwind being aware of it. (if that is what you meant)

Anyways, you have a fantastic intro!

Welcome to the Server!
Well, to just come out and say it, I'm hoping to make a member of the Scarlet Crusade, one who could potentially even make his way through the ranks over time. I'm not sure if he should start in the Scarlet Crusade and join in game somehow, or if I should just backstory the entry to make things simple and put it into his history, but my main concern is, can I even technically be a member of the Scarlet Crusade? My storyline will fit, and everything lorewise should be fine by the time I am done, but it's up to the GMs if I even can join the organization since technically the Scarlet's are "Mobs" unlike the Argent Dawn and whatnot.
Sadly, Scarlets are pretty much extremely exclusive. I'm not sure as to whether the Crusade is even still existant in our lore.
I figured it might be exclusive, thus why I wished to discuss it with a GM. Might have to be one of those "Special" section profiles, but even if it takes me extra work to prove myself and to make a great profile, I'll do my best at it.

As for not even being sure it still exists.. What? Why wouldn't it? Unless there was a massive plotline where the Scarlet Crusade was somehow ended or destroyed, I don't see why there wouldn't still be the Scarlet Crusade in the Plaguelands, or at least the Scarlet Onslaught in Northrend.

That's what I was thinking of. The Scarlet Onslaught.
Well, the Scarlet Crusade still exists even with the Scarlet Onslaught, since that is technically an off faction that essentially cut and run to Northrend, lead by High General Bridgette Abbendis, but there are still plenty of the old school Scarlet Crusade. The Crusade is what I wish to be a part of much more then the Onslaught. I want to be in the Plaguelands kicking undead ass most of my time.

Still, Scarlet Crusade is likely still going to be very difficult to get into, but I'll see what I can manage. >.< I love them too much not to try!
Well then, good luck!
The Crusade was basically wiped out by the Scourge forces in and around Acherus, during the death knight starting quests you wipe out their main stronghold of Avalon/Tyr's Hand and only a fraction manages to high tail it away to Northrend, sadly, the Scarlets outside, from the Monastery, Hearthglen and so on, were never told, and their combined army sent to reinforce and help wipe out the Scourge attackers were completely destroyed. Leaving only the few guards and such left to defend their other bases.

So, the Scarlet Crusade still exists, but only barely, and if not for being nothing but a minor nuisance now they'd be wiped out by either the Scourge or the Forsaken.

Anyway, as for playing a Scarlet, that's a no, not even a special profile; you can read about it on our wiki where we list the "playable" races and those we don't allow. I'm sure you can come up with other characters than a Scarlet though! So many welcomes to the server and if you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask!

Edit: For kicking undead ass there's allways the Argent Dawn, otherwise you can go for a Forsaken, they have plenty of reason to kick some undead Scourge ass... and pretty much anyone elses' ass too.

Edit2: I think you'd be surprised about how many wants to play Scarlet characters, I know that there hardly is any Retail servers that doesn't have at least one Cursader/Inquisition guild that's supposed to be part of the Scarlets.
Yeah, I already got a reply by contacting Mikain, and I actually already had the thought on the Forsaken. I've loved the Forsaken since Warcraft 3, namely due to my continuing love for Sylvanis, but I have more and more grown to love them. Though I wasn't originally inspired by them as I was the Scarlets for roleplay, I still want to RP on this server, so I think I will do just fine making a Forsaken. x3
