I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before, but here you have it.

Quote:All players on this server should have a high degree of competence in typing. This is a roleplay-centric server, and as such we need to have high standards of personal expression. Capitalization, punctuation, and spelling all count. Nobody's perfect, but everyone is capable of improving. Emoticons are not an acceptable substitute for a well-posed emote. Please try to type out words, such as "you" rather than "u" and "thanks" rather than "thx". You are expected to use proper spelling and grammar in the official OOC channels (/Chat and /LookingForGroup) as much as possible. If you are asked to stop abusing the language more than once, you will be kicked and directed to this rule.

I'm not sure how much of a problem some of this is to some players, I know I can forget to put periods and capitalize my sentences, MS word does it for me all. But I thought the addon "Tongues" would help some players with this. I know it helps me, especially since it comes with a built in function for accents and dialects.

I can't remember if it's this, or another addon that messes with cross faction chat...

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, heh.
Tongues does, but it can be circumvented.

On my Human, when I select Orcish through both Tongues -and- the chat box, it actually speaks translated Orcish to me and everyone else. When I keep it set to Orcish in the chat menu, and switch it to common in tongues, it speaks normal Orcish. That's one of the issues.
