I get an error when I login to WoW. Says my game version can't be validated. What did I do?

Sorry. I'll say it again. I suck at forums. If it isn't blaring in my face with a big 'read me' sign, I take it as optional. Also, nothing led me to believe something was wrong with the server. Sorry.
I guess the fact it says "server down blah blah blah" didn't help? O_O
