Is time frozen on the server, is it always 7 years after the burning legion, 1 moth after the Draenei crashed, or does the server run, aging on it's own calender?

The server advances at it's own rate and goes through the time as it passes.

New events happen all the time, so there's really no timeline to follow.

We're about 7 months or more after Wrathgate. Probably around 8 or 9 now.
