I wouldn't mind taking a vacation next year.

Don't worry Hawk! I'm in rainy old England too!

Once I pass my test I'll drive down to you and we can hang out or somethin. LOL

Anyone else from ye olde England? As far as I know, Hawk's the only one I'm sure lives here!
I'm relatively close to England?
Coth-Europe Depravation bash FTW?
I'm from the mighty Wales myself, Swansea to be exact.
Well if we did a US one and a Europe one I'd have an excuse to go to Europe the following year.

2010: US
2011: Europe
1212: After-life?
Well, the reason that I wanted to have it in the US is that I..uh..Live in the US, seeing how planning something in Europe when I know nothing about it is impossible.

Again, I ask that all posts be constructive and actually give ideas for what we can do. I don't want this to be 3+ pages of "OH, WELL I WANT TO GO/CAN'T GO." Nothing will get done. Now, seeing that we have a general idea of where most people are (North) what should we do about actually meeting? I know someone over vent suggested a huge roadtrip type adventure. (Rent a large van or winnebago and pick people up as we circle the country? Hah. )

EDIT: Perhaps it would also be best if we where to arrange groups in our own area/state? Just an idea.
Arranging groups by state/states close to each other might not be a bad idea. Another thing that would make it easier is, after we find out where people are on the map, picking a place for the convention to take place at. Do we want to have it at a hotel, another festival, or...as I'd stated last night, the CotH Camping Trip! :B Just something for people to think about and throw their ideas at.
Taking all us computer junkies away from technology? Are you crazy, woman!? I'll.. I'll go into withdrawals.. NOT AGAIN! <Twitches>

Seriousness: Little tidbit, don't about four or five of us live in NY? I think a couple people live in the City. I personally live in the better area, known as Suffolk on Long Island. /flex So, and idea, so I can save money, lets have it somewhere here! ^.^ Or we buy tickets for shite together and go.. Dunno if plane ticket prices go down when you buy in groups. </randomrambling>

I'll bring my laptop! Just walk into any Starbucks, and we have CotH!
Is there anyone who lives close to southern Michigan? I live like an hour away from the Ohio border. Where are you in Michigan, Rensin?
>> In 2011 I am going to Ireland...:D But that is totally off topic.

I am for this idea, that is if everyone wants to hang out with an old foggy with a kid. /sagenod
Hurr, what about..all of these things? I mean, hell...those who -can-, get on the road trip. Those who can't, fly (With parents, I don't think I would mind.) To a certain place. I vote :Mountainside retreat in the pocnos mt's , play DND and volley ball and swim all day and- Yeah, if that's not working..maybe Atlantic city? Just a suggestion. I wouldn't mind spending a weekend/week with you guys in a mountainside camp. (It's not that expensive, anyway. [Yes it is.])
Why did I have to live in Maine.... away from civilization. Either way, I would highly suggest Lake Arrowhead, there are lots of little islands dotting the lake. And, if that fails, there are no shortages of forest. It gets lonely out here...

If someone has to go with parents, I don't think this sort of thing is up their alley.
