Conquest of the Horde

Well, I've been tossing the idea around in my head a while, and I finally decided I would inquire about it. Pack mule non-combat pets -- the model exists, but can it happen? I'm tired of having an orphan boy as my mule. He gets tired too easily, and tends to shirk his duty and try to run away.
