One thing I think you should work on is being less of a sore loser. What do I mean? Well...you have a tendency to give very bland responses to roll loses. An attack of yours could be a full emote long, but a hit against you? X gets hit by a shield.
Try to worry less about winning and looking cool. Also, try to accept defeat graciously. Yes, perhaps ICly, your character would try escape and cling at every hair he could. However, OOC politeness should be taken into consideration since we're RPing.
