Positive RP Experiences
#31
I'm so cool, I posted in the old thread! Here's the post for reference:

(09-13-2012, 11:20 AM)CappnRob Wrote: Shout out to the Black Harvest for all the great RP I've had with them for Maeia and Cristovao, especially the likes of Sol, Spix, LostStranger, Piken, and Rowgen.

Shout out to C0rzilla for all the past and upcoming RP with Orvisha! (And the few fun times we've had on Ithildess and Annabelle, too)

Shout out to Dae for being Cristovao's first major Forsaken experience, and for being a consistently good one that I cherish!

Shout out to Rigley for Solidarity and Northwind!

I have so many more, but if I list them all at once, then I'll be here all day!

That was in September of 2012 though, so things have certainly changed! What's new on the plate...

@ImagenAshyun: Cliche to be sure, but you're the reason I came here to begin with. Aside from putting up with my early days bad attitude and the stigma you risked associating with it, you've always been an ear for me to speak to when stuff got bad. Beyond that, I've delighted in intertwining our storylines together, be it the old and aborted Song of the Sun, the Lost in a Song/Heart of Evil stuff in Outland, or things as recent as Lessons in Shadow, you're my go-to partner of endless reliability.

@Mathias: After two and a half years, Cristovao finally got that hug from Matthew. You've always been a cool bro to me and have been super-helpful in helping me realize some of my RP ideas. Without you, Restoring Stormwind would never have worked, and most definitely not Fear and Loathing in Westfall.

@Bovel: Draenei Pilgrimage was one of the first storylines I got involved with on CotH, and has persisted as one of my most favorite, even with the frequent stops due to real life getting in the way. You lead fantastic (if sometimes challenging and cryptic) events with a great sense of narrative and community within the involved parties. Needless to say, I somewhat directly owe my success with Heart of Evil and a few other storylines due to trying to emulate your own stories.

@c0rzilla: I used to dislike you way back when because of second-hand knowledge that you were a big jerk who was rude to everyone outside her circle of friends and other accusations of elitism. Then you prodded me in OOC one day about Aryeon mentoring Annabelle in the Light, and while we did very little of actually doing that, it broke the ice that led to our friendship today. You've humored my ideas and provide some of the most dynamic and interesting characters I've RPed with, be they Orvisha, Roux, Ithildess or whoever. My only regret is that Cristovao didn't really come out on his own as a character until towards the end of your stint with Annabelle, but no used crying over missed RP potential. now RP Odetta more

@Psycho: You might be MIA, but you were one of my first RP buddies who really showed enthusiasm for my older storylines. While none of them were fully realized, I enjoyed having someone new and different encourage me on, and like the others already mentioned you always showed enthusiasm for whatever it was I wanted to do. Especial props to Septif, a forsaken who managed to walk both the social RP and warmonger RP line very well. Still Maeia's buddy!

@SachikoMaeda and @Ozewse: You two were my OG supporters of Aryeon back when he was actually a pretty crappy character, and you've always been a delight to RP with since. Oze's purple prose I especially love, and it never failed to paint a wonderful picture in my head whenever we RPed.

@JTJP770: your screen name is so dum jake gawd One of the first and original supporters for Order of Virute, Balverine has made a fine foil for Cristovao and a great addition to the guild despite your sporadic presence lately.

@Scout: Another good friend despite becoming scarce in recent times, I've always loved that Therai's brief experience with Cristovao shaped her character so dramatically without my even realizing it. Beyond that, you've supported the Windwaker and our haunted trinket event was freakin' sweet, and I look forward to seeing Tarana more.

@Sol: Words really fail me here. I could write essays on how much I've loved our RP, but I think I'll take the less is more route: Black Harvest. Jared single handedly reshaped my line of thought regarding two of my most beloved characters more or less single handedly, and as a whole you made an entire race I disliked one of my favorites.

@Caravan: Cara and Hrodebert banter off each other like such good friends, and I always adored that. Your offering me to help you test and try new event ideas flattered me, and Lobelia was an excellent contrast Maeia and I'm glad she hated her so much. The Lake House was delightful, and I'm sorry I never did that Lost in Nightmares idea.

@Dae: I never expected that one RP with Cristovao and Flora to grow into such a great relationship, but it did. Even now with their very firmly planted friendship, things still crack between them regarding current affairs and ethical beliefs; beyond Flora, I've loved Riven as she gave a new spin on Cristovao's backstory and was in part directly responsible for his rewrite. Plus it goes without saying, I'm flattered when people want my characters to be involved with their stories!

@LostStranger: I still regret that you're banned, and even though Cristovao's stint with Whiteshore was somewhat hasty and ultimately ill-devised, the RP itself with it was fun and intruiging. If you see this, I'm sorry I've yet to truly integrate into your RP circles outside of CotH, but I'm flattered you considered me all the same.

@Zenethen and @CartoonKarl: Our RP has declined, but the memories remain. My original noblebright buddies, I still cherish the days we had with our paladins. Grenalin remains one of my most favorite dwarf characters, as does Lanus; and I appreciate the effort you guys put into things even when they don't always work out.

@Geoni: We don't RP much, but when we do its always welcome. You know my love for Troovo, and since then I've come to like Geoni, Ce, and Pleasant as well. You're eager to work together and keep me encouraged and for that I thank you.

@Ural: Like Geoni, we don't RP much but when we do it's like a specially wrapped gift. Tikar will get more family time with his dad, I promise you. I look forward to actually fleshing out their estranged relationship and seeing where it goes.

@Kindle135: At first I thought Percival was just a silly joke character, and at first he didn't do much with himself in the Order of Virtue. However, like all things, he improved with age and time. You're a crazy funny guy to hang with, and I've enjoyed the aspiring adolescent's antics as he matures into a paladin, if slowly! Also, the murlocs. That was great.

@Rowgen: Some people say they love my eagerness and positive attitude; for me I have to say that about you ten fold. You just explode with optimism, ideas, and eagerness, and despite being in a bad spot to conduct RP lately, still give it your all when you can. Happiness is contagious, and you're the proof.

@Rosencrat: You approached me to get Maeia involved with Lustig's dastardly deeds, which left an impression on me. I've rarely been approached, much less by someone as regarded as you are, to ask for participation in their storylines. What followed was an excellent series of moral and ethical quandaries that truly makes Forsaken RP great, and when I get back to more undead fun I hope you'll be there. The Solheim Society has been great too, finally giving Balshar a purpose and a whole guild of foils to be snooty with.

There's so many more I can mention, but this post has ran out of steam for now. To anyone I've forgotten, I still love you all and the RP you've given me!
Your stories will always remain...

Not sure what possessed you to say that! I could say the exact same thing about you!

@Loxmardin - Gisea (I think that was her name?) and Traid on The Frostbrand. He just.... Wouldn't give up.

@Herastean - Naming Courage the Tabby Cat finally.

Demitrius and Siara were spotted by Tabby.. Uh.. In... The Booty Bay Tavern bedroom...

And finally, whomever played Amority, I know you're gone now, but Tabby and Amority was... Well, weird, for the most part. But let's just go with positive.

Spoiler:
  • Tabby - Owner of a Tabby Cat.
  • Dawn - One With The Earth.
  • Simon - Wimpy Nerd.
  • Cory - Bad-Ass.
  • Khrysti - Dumb.
