I thought it was fans that dressed up for Blizzcon?
And Blizzards paying rate(Well, for GM's) is 25,000 Euro per annum. Which is absolutly shocking.
But anyway.

Not really. Monthly fee, 15 bucks?
Let's count 8 million out of the reported 10 as I'm sure they're counting inactive accounts as well when presenting those numbers.
8,000,000 x $15 = $120,000,000. A month. And that's just for monthly fees, and not counting the remaining $30 mil for the supposed 2 mill more players. Add Starcraft fame, Diablo-series, etc. CHING-CHING!
Granted WoW probably costs a lot to run, but I'm pretty sure Blizzard higherups all have swimmingpools filled with $100-bills in their backyards.

Woah. 25 000 Euros just to go around poofing in front of people, continuously asking you to delete your WTF folder or reinstall WoW. Damn.
Mmmm.. Caketown.
