Regina Spektor ~ The Call
In my opinion, one of the best songs ever. Makes me extremely emotional (more than I already am?)... But yeah, I want it played at my funeral. I know, it's silly for me to be thinking so far ahead about such a thing, especially on my birthday.
Oh, and yay, KT Tunstall. Love her songs. Especially "Suddenly I See" ...

Silverstein - Smile In Your Sleep
Although I'm not too much for growling, I like this song alot.
Three Days Grace - I Hate Everything About You
Again, I must post this song. Seriously, it's one of the best songs I've heard! Listen to it, dammit!

Forgot this one. The refrain is brilliant!

I don´t have many pet peeves (or whatever it´s called) but this is one; That is not growl. It´s a guy screaming in the mic.
There´s a lot of bands who wants to seem "cooler" and "tough" so they try to simulate different genres (see Green Day for boy band punk or Sonic Syndicate for boy band metal). Sadly they fail misserably as they can´t get it right.
Now for some music!
DÅÅth - The Hinderers
The Who - Boris the spider
DIO - Holy Diver
Black Sabbath - War Pigs
Another awesome DIO song - Don´t Talk to Strangers

I have no idea if I (or someone else) has already said this because I'm too tired to go through 23 pages of songs again, and because I'm just forgetful. If it's already been said... Oh well. This song rocks anyway.

Alistus: No, you're not a song, but I've got to say that I find you posting Boris the Spider hillarious.
And now for a few Eagles of Death Metal songs. No, they don't play death metal. They play a more grungey southern thing. Two friends, including Joshe Homme (the vocalist from Queens of the Stone Age), and they're pretty decent.
From their new cd 'Heart On'.
Wannabe in LA
Woman in underwear warning. Not nudity, not quite.
Cherry Cola
Same warning.
Okay. This next one sounds odd, but bear with me here.
I Want You So Hard (Boy's Bad News)
Like I said, some mature themes in the videos, but they're not porn. Fun band, and music that makes you want to shake and wiggle. Well, not so much wiggle.

Q.Q I like -some- of their songs, but I can see exactly where you are coming from. They are fun live though.
Anyways. Here is a band I think that can pull it off REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY well.
Mnemic - Mindsaver. This is my favorite song of the week, I really love the vocal work and drums during the chorus. :>
Huh, I guess I am what my main is. o.O

Well, they aren´t bad at what they´re doing, but it shouldn´t be called Metal, maybe one of the hundred sub-sub genres? Metalcore, Hobocore, Grindcore etc etc etc. Bleh!
Arch Enemy - We Will Rise.
Arch Enemy - Carry the Cross
Edit: Yay, female growler!
Edit2: The Revolution Begins.

... Okay, okay, I know I say this a lot.... but this is the best song ever. For many reasons. ((Kag... <3 >_>))
David Archuleta also sings it like an angel, but I'll spare all you David Archuleta haters. ![:] :]](https://www.conquestofthehorde.com/images/smilies/orc/orc2.gif) If you want to hear it, just look up on Youtube.

I created a playlist of the Warth of the Lich King Original Soundtrack and some of the warcraft songs from Echos of War. I didn't upload the songs I just created a playlist so you can listen to them while playing games.

Evanescence ~ My Immortal
Evanescence ~ Missing
Evanescence ~ Going Under This one's kind of creepy... just a warning. The faces contort and twist in kind of creepy ways. >_> You're not going insane, it's just a creepy video.
Evanescence ~ Everybody's Fool The beginning is like an ad, so just hold your horses while the video is starting. Anyway, this song is pretty amazing... Just like all the other songs. I always thought Evanescence was kind of creepy, but now I've realized otherwise. Watch/listen to their songs. >_> They're awesomeness.
Edit:
Hilary Duff ~ Come Clean Yeah, yeah. It's Hilary Duff... But this is before she went total slutty whore. She should redo this song now that her voice has like... fully changed or whatever. Anyway, it's an amazing song, even if you don't like Hilary Duff.
Edit 2: I so want to do that with my living room. Cover it in candles... and listen to the rain... Or kiss someone in the rain. That sounds fun. Lol.

I agree, they seem... 'Dark' in some fashion, or maybe not dark, but... ... Eh, what's the point; they're great!

Yeah... They're just... different I guess. At points, they seem gothic or dark, and others they seem upbeat and stuff. But I love most of their songs.
