What is in a name?
#1
Welp! I want some advice.

My significant other and I have been looking at names for babies. Trying to figure out names that are trendy and cool but aren't going to scar the child growing up.

I don't want to have the next Inspektor, Apple, or Bronx, but I want something trendy but isn't...That.

Any suggestions?

:]

And don't say babynames.com. Sooo sick of websites and definitions.

Cressy

...Also, you will get sick of hearing me talk about babies I do know this. :] But I am too excited too really care. :]

Well, first of all Cressy, I'd like to congratulate you on your baby to be. (I assume this is why you are asking for names.) GRATS!

Second, I am obligated to suggest the title of the child to be, Optimus Prime!
Now that I've gotten those matters out of the way I'll give you some names I enjoy.

Bartholomew,
Tailor,
Anushay,
Oswald,
Samuel,
Harry,
Katie,
and Adriene.

Hope those helped!
Oh, and of course Walluce!

Edit -First off, I read your signature! For sure Grats on your parasite! and As soon as I posted the original reply, more names popped into my head, they are as follows.

Sebastion,
Nathaniel,
Brandon,
Cecilia,
Kristine,
Vlad,
Victoria,
and Benjamin!

Charmagne or Charmaine
Kristy
Emily
Kristina

If it was a little boy, I will say...

Breyton

Nathan
Lance (or Spear)

I'd go with something Alexander, Allister, Albert-- Something with 'A' in the beginning. I'm also a big fan of names like Henry, Jack, Charles or Charlie, and simple monosyllabic names. That's just for boys, though. For girls... Emma or Emily are all that come to mind right now. If I think of more, I'll post 'em. Congratulations.

My favorite girl name right now is Adele. Love it. Not one you hear often either. I also like Eva, my boyfriend is a fan of Xiomara (his sister's name, his family is Nicaraguan). I also really liked Charlotte for a while, and I had decided I'd call her Charlie for short. For boys, I tend to like Caleb, but I'm bad with boy names and it's really the only one I can think of.

Congrats on the baby! :)

Hrmph. Might as well give some suggestions, though my help might not be wanted. Read on, you'll see. ;)

For a male child-

William
Franklin
Rudolph
Brian
Master (No, I'm not kidding.)
Thomas
Zachary
Patton
Gunnar

For a female child-

Laura
Brandy
Erika
Kerrie, Carrie, Carry, or whatever other spelling of that name there possibly could be.
Elizabeth (Betsy for short, not Beth.)
Kasha

I know I don't have very common suggestions for the most part, but those names are pretty nifty in my opinion. Personally, I think that names after colors or flowers or what-have-you are far too cutesy. Like, Rose, Ivy, Lilly, Charlotte, Violet, and the like. May just be me.

Ooh, congrats on the baby.
In my personal opinion, a name should be unique, whether it be spelling or pronounciation, I have no suggestions, but I know the baby will have a wonderful name, seeing all the suggestions here.

Happy Parenting!
