I was having a long chat about CotH with a couple people on discord last night and realized that despite a significant exodus to Freedom I still don't know where half of CotH is now.
Worst of all? We've reached the point where it's been years (4 in January!) since CotH was alive and many of us have parted ways but it's always good to know where people are now.
I've graduated college, gone down the law enforcement path, somehow still spending my free time RPing and bullshitting around on the net.
I got enlisted into the military, became a ranger and a combat medic within the ranger force. That's the tldr of those years.
Trying to get into uni now, to become an electronics engineer
Got into one of the strongest universities in my country, learning to be a mechatronics engineer. Spending my free time on retail and with my girlfriend. Still thinking about CoTH every day.
Anski! Hello! I hope you (and everyone else above) have been faring decently!

Need an easy way to host/link files and images? Check this thread! Try to never just say, "My character isn't interested in that adventure." A lot of people mistake this for good roleplaying, because you are asserting your character's personality. Wrong. Good roleplaying should never bring the game to a screeching halt. One of your jobs as a player is to come up with a reason why your character would be interested in a plot. After all, your personality is entirely in your hands, not the DM's. Come up with a reason why the adventure (or the reward) might appeal to you, no matter how esoteric or roundabout the reasoning. -(Source)
Getting by, tried moving back to retail for a while, still lounging about the internet with nothing better to do between work shifts. Still miss the hell outta people here.
"The most precious thing in life is its uncertainty. Leaving something incomplete makes it interesting and gives one the feeling that there is room for growth."
Move him into the sun—
Gently its touch awoke him once,
At home, whispering of fields half-sown.
Always it woke him, even in France,
Until this morning and this snow.
If anything might rouse him now
The kind old sun will know.
Think how it wakes the seeds,—
Woke, once, the clays of a cold star.
Are limbs, so dear-achieved, are sides,
Full-nerved—still warm—too hard to stir?
Was it for this the clay grew tall?
—O what made fatuous sunbeams toil
To break earth’s sleep at all?

BRUH. I never thought I'd see you around again, that's super cool!
I ended up coming back to RP a while back and rolled a Paladin. I'm basically playing in Lambent 2.0 with a bunch of people on Freedom-WoW. Hit us on discord. https://discord.gg/h8T5uh
