Much like real life and Christianity, the laws of Stormwind are based around the belief of the Church of the Holy Light as far as I can see. It makes sense to me.
Arrillion Wrote:Actually I can't think of a reason why warlocks would be accepted. I mean, warlocks where behind the whole Orcish invasion and the Dark Horde, they've slaughtered countless humans. Why would Stormwind...or any other alliance city ever accept them?
Ben Wrote:The Great Sundering wasn't recent. Hence the NElves hate for magi. The current generation know the Great Wars, hence currently Warlocks are the bad guys, until they do something productive for the whole of society. Or save the King.This.
Tales23 Wrote:I think a more interesting fact is that, with the end of Arthas, what would become of the weapons (DK's) now that they aren't needed? Will the be cast aside like an old saber when it loses it's usefulness?Well, technically at the end of every DK's questline he/she was accepted back into either the Alliance or Horde as long as he acted in its interests.

Most regular Stormwind citizens would want to rout any known warlocks from town. Just because Tirion employs them doesn't mean that the Alliance (a separate faction from the Argent Crusade, mind you), is okay with it. At -all-. In fact, they aren't okay with it one bit.Ah... concerning that. The Stormwind government outright knows about the Slaughtered Lamb and its coven. The guard dialogue concerning Warlock trainers tells you that much.
