Quote:A coalition of Darkshire and Stonard orcs/humans helped establish the island.

Quote:The island was established by necromancers.

Quote:Darkshire.

Quote:Necromancers.

Not to be a bother, but I'm 102% sure that anyone from Darkshire will never work with a necromancer. Ever.

You'll see how it plays out soon enough.

That would be interesting to see.. I think the only way it could make sense is if it was a group of the humans that were originally corrupted and brought the darkness to Darkshire. The humans of darkshire as a whole are very distrustful, bitter and resentful of the state of their home and have to fight against the undead constantly as their home is attacked.

However. There have been several instances where some members of darkshire had fallen, or been taken over by the undead.

There is the story of where nobility of Darkshire (what nobility there was) was lured to the banquet within Karazhan, where Moroes keeps them as his eternal guests. One such NPC example, being the Lady Catriona Von'Indi.

So I can see how some members could have turned evil or twisted.

...

And my vote goes for the name Ashholme. For some reason I really like that name.

(ps.
My char's last name is the same as Catriona's because I had initially intended that she be related to two npcs, as the npcs were minor, and i did not think it would mater.. added to that Catriona's relation was questionable at best, but after talking to a GM...and after I had rped my char for a while.. found out that such was not aloud so claim no relation.)
I like the name Ashholme.
Ashblight Isle, or any combination of words that fits with Ashblight.. Like The Isle of Ashblight.. Or.. Ashblight Cove..
Amir'shorukh, the Hand of Chaos. (Draconic)
Two suggestions:

1. Ashgrove Refuge

2. Pepel Isle (Ash in Bulgarian = pepel. The e's are read as in 'phonetic')
Why must it sound evil? Why can't it just deal with the local geography?
After all, no easier way to tell the good guys it's an evil base than by giving it an evil name.

Psh like the good guys could pull their heads... together... yeah, together, long enough to accomplish something anyway. I like subtle names like the one I suggested. Do you know how many ashtrays ICly there should be?Shhh

Alright, a poll has been added! Vote for as many names as you like.

The poll will be closed Tuesday the 26th and the name (Along with the island) shall be released.

Thanks for playing!
Gorimdor sounds like Gryffindor.
...Why hasn't Ashworth been thrown in yet?

YOU DON'T SIMPLY WALK INTO GORIMDOR.
Go Gorimdor!
No Ashworth! So we can have the Evil Island be a big game of Mafia.
After the voting is done in this round, can we group it down to about the 3 highest voted for, then vote between those three?
BTW, Gorimdor makes me think of a Hogwarts house out of Harry Potter for some reason. O.o
