It's alive! Mwahahaha!

Time to (E)RP it up! ;)
I'll gradually work on creating users in the database for external access so that the aforementioned scripts will work.

Also, thank you, JVNemesis! Much appreciated!
Doom doom doom oooh! The end!
I love you Kret.
Thank you, thank you, Kretol!
And the heavens did open, and Kretol did say, "Let there be CotH!" And there was CotH.

Thank you so much for all the effort you have put into this Kretol. You're amazing.
Sweet!

Thanks a bundle, Kret.
Thanks, Kret!
All of my love, Kretlol!
...again.
After using Ubuntu for a while, I've determined that it has a very irritating bug that has been around for a few years (I believe because no-one has found a sure cause of it) - randomly, the desktop will stop recognizing mouse clicks. This can be a huge inconvenience, especially considering it seems to require a restart to make the clicks start getting recognized again. It's even more strange because I can switch to another user and the mouse clicks work fine.
At any rate, I may switch to another Linux distro (after testing it on my laptop). Fortunately, I should be able to make backups relatively easily so everything done after the server came back up will still be there. This wouldn't happen until the end of the month at the earliest, but I figured I would let folks know!

Edit: Actually, I may not need a reinstall (kinda jumped the gun there) - I think I may just be able to install a different desktop GUI to use, as I believe that is what's causing the issue. Regardless, it would probably take just a wee bit of downtime (though not as much as a reinstall).
Are you using a R.A.T mouse?
