First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player:
My name is Steve and I've been playing role-playing games since the first Final Fantasy on NES. I started MMO's as soon as Ultima Online came out and joined a RP guild there. I then moved onto Everquest, Dark Age of Camelot, SWG, and finally WoW. I mainly played with real life friends but most of them never could find time to play and I just really got frustrated with the immature player base on the public servers. Since then I've been trying to find a good group of RP's to find a home to play.
What country do you come from? What is your primary language?:
I'm from Colorado, United States. I speak English and like a couple sentences of Spanish hehe.
How did you get into Warcraft?:
Back in 1996 I started playing Warcraft 2 and played a TON of games with my good friends. I've been with the series ever since.
What made you seek our server over others?:
I was trying desperately to find a good mature RP server and I think this one might just be it.
What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
I've done a little pen/paper RP'ing but I mostly enjoy playing a video game RPG.
What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
Night Elves. I love their appreciation for nature and magic the way it should be handled. They are wise and a very honorable race.
What are your expectations of this server?:
To have an overall enjoyable time and hopefully meet some good friends.
Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
The one about maturity since I've pointed it out earlier, this is a big issue to me since it's hard to not only RP but to just have a good time if someone is just being a jerk.
Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:
Early Autumn sprinkled bits and pieces of red, orange, and yellow all around the great city of Guardania. The early morning rays of the sun were just peaking over the mountain tops and it gave everything around it the trees, the houses, and the sky it's own inner beauty. But only one person was awake to see this peaceful morning sunrise in the city of Guardania and that was Lance Royalsword. However, he was not thinking abou the sun or the trees, but the death of his whole family. First it was his honorable father, then his loving mother, and just two moons ago his beloved brother. Lance leaned back in his chair and glanced out the window and thought to himself, "Not even the rays of light from this beautiful morning sunrise can penetrate the darkness that clouds my heart. Lance then slowly drifted off to sleep after being up all night thinking and crying about his tragic life.
Is there anything else you would like to add, ask, or otherwise clarify?:
Not really, just looking forward to the opportunity to play with you guys.
Lastly, we would like to remind applicants NOT to send PM's to GM's asking to check introductions - as we will deny you outright. This also applies for those that bump their own introduction threads as well. It displays only rudeness and impatience, both are factors that we as a community are better off without.
