Astriant`s Introduction
#1
First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player.:
Alright to start myself off I would like to say that my name is David Navarro (Yes I know what you are thinking, but no, not that David) and I am currently living in the glorious state of South Carolina at the age of 18. Outside of WoW I really enjoy reading and writing and also the occasional movie with friends. While in WoW I prefer to RP as much of it as I can because it is like writing a story, but it is a story that can come to life, a story you can act out. I also enjoy when I do go and train and such on WoW being in groups so it makes questing and such exciting for everyone who wants to participate.

What country do you come from? What is your primary language?
Actually I am a mixed breed child. My father is from Panama while my mother is from good 'ol Detroit Michigan. Although I do speak a good bit of Spanish and enjoy researching on Spanish culture and history, I would have to say that English is my primary language.

How did you get into Warcraft?:
Well my journey in Warcraft began in 2005 when my cousin reccomended it to me and I said "Meh, maybe." But sure enough I tried it and instantly I loved it from the beginning. Mostly the quests and community brought me in (Most of them at least) and made me feel welcome. Also when I saw that people here who enjoyed roleplaying as much as I do and that we could share stories of the adventures of our characters and make a story of our own that to us, made us unique in the Warcraft society.

What made you seek our server over others?:
Well I was looking for a server that was as serious for roleplaying as I was, and some servers I joined dissapointed me extremely. I was overjoyed when I had found this site because it seems that the community here enjoys roleplaying and having fun as one united society. I wanted to find a server that didn't cover up their horrible roleplay with silly pieces of gear that meant nothing to me, and this was the place.

What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
This is a difficult question to answer because I love all sorts, to be honest there is not just one that I dislike as any type of roleplay is welcomed by me. The only really thing that I like specifically when roleplaying is being with a good amount of people and having action being just around the corner, while peace and tranquility might be nearby as well. For me that is a win-win situation.

What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
Of all the races that this majestic game grants us, I must say dwarves are my absolute favorite race of all time. There are indeed several reasons for this, one is just of the sheer might and determination the dwarves have in their soul that lets them have the ability to drive on even when death is their fate. The dwarves also share with one another a great curiosity to find things from the earth and make use of them.

For my favorite class it would probably be the (As over used as it is) warrior, it is great for me to hear the horns of battle and to be one of the first to charge in ready to take on whatever fate has for me, and whatever lays waiting on the battlefield. Also warriors do not have to live by the all brawns but no brains idea. I say this because most warriors are very capable of thinking with tactics and strategy, which I also love.

What are your expectations of this server?:
My expectations of this realm are those that are very high but fit this realm. I say this because from what I can tell by just looking at the site to this server you all here are a group of wise people who know how to have fun with others as a big family. I also would like to see that roleplaying is abundant in mostly anywhere I go, but I am sure this server fits the bill.

Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
Of course it would have to be where you need to have an introduction that is well thought out and completed before playing on the server. The reason I say this is because of the fact that people who have no other joy but to mess with others constantly join a server and harass people. It prohibits stupidity from getting on this server as spreading like the bubonic plague. The introduction makes it so everyone on the server has a great sense of humor and can create some great literature.

Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:
The captain walked slowly but with a sense of urgency in front of his troops before coming to a sudden halt and stating "The Scourge are almost upon us men, soon they will test our strength in combat, but that is where they will know and fear the might of the alliance." Captain Vergonus had fought with the Scourge several times and destroyed many of the wretched undead that roamed Azeroth. Although a strict leader he made sure none of his mean were forgotten and tried his hardest to make it so all of his men lived each encounter with enemies of the alliance.
Soon after the Captain's heroic speech the drums of war atop the ranger towers sounded and the sight of hundreds, no, thousands of undead running toward the Fort crept into the minds of each man on the front and they all felt a great fear, experienced men and new recruits alike. “Charge men! Glory awaits those ready to serve the Alliance and purge the evil beings that torment our realm!” roared the Captain as he charged through on his horse with his blade in one hand, and a decorated shield in the other. The first wave of undead hit them and troops from both sides were immediately locked in battle slashing, crushing, and beating the life out of each other. Several cries were heard some such as “Remember brothers, Lordaeron, but mostly remember your families praying for their safety as home! Don't let up!” and then there were others a bit more cheerful “Fight long and hard men, think of the beer and meat we get when the finish these foul beings!”
The head of the Fort, Dwarven warrior Kelis Ironwind eyed both sides and soon smiled to see his troops gaining the upper hand with the help of the rangers all along the walls and towers of the Fort. He turned in and look to his officers stating “Look here! All is not lost yet, these undead are feeling the pain of the light, the pain of the Alliance. Gather the mead and pour bottles for each of the men so we will be ready to celebrate out victory!!” Although Ironwind was content with the battle as it was progressing he could not help but have fear in the back of his mind. There were several reasons for this, the most important of these was the fact that there were a lot less undead that were trying to take the keep than usual. Also there was usual some leader from the Scourge forces that looked over the battle usually from behind the troops or clearly visible in the skies above the fight. He gave one last look at the battlefield before turning his back and heading inside.
The battle have progressing for several hours now, seemed to be won for the Alliance soldiers, the Scourge had lost many of their troops and were almost out of them while the Alliance, despite still being battle worn were able to deploy a plentiful amount. Captain Vergonus let out a sigh of relief as the last undead soldier was put to rest by some of the cavalry of the Alliance. There was a brief moment of silence after the Captain commanded the surviving soldiers to pray for those lost in combat, those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. The prayers were interrupted when huge sounds of thunder erupted from the clouds and a noise of huge pounding on the earth sounded from the ground. Most of the men fell back surprised and filled with fear while the others who managed to stand saw Crypt lords pour out of the ground and a flying group of Lich magi had surrounded the Alliance men with shrieks of evil laughter erupting from their dry bony mouths. The Captain still seeing a bit of hope yelled “Fight on brothers, we shall push them back once more!” as once again he and other soldiers on a faithful horse charged into the Crypt Lords on the ground while soldiers atop the towers with bows attacked the magi in the air.
Seeing the battle from his aerial view above the clouds, the Lich in charge of this mess roared with appraisal at his troops as they were slicing right through Alliance lines. The screams of human and dwarven soldiers alike filled the air, as with the smell of death. Undead magi in the air were demolishing the towers and ravaging the back of the alliance forces while the Crypt Lords swarmed the front. The Lich let loose a demonic laughter as he left the scene, seeing as it would be handled by his troops who had already majorly overpowered the Alliance.
Kelis Ironwind let loose tears from his eyes as he glanced toward his once proud troops being slaughtered. All of the Garrisons along the Borean Tundra had already been taken by the Scourge and this was the last place they had still in Alliance hands until now. With advisors also overlooking the battle that was raging between the two sides, they ordered that the ship Kelis would be traveling on be readied immediately. Once all was set and ready to go Kelis stepped on the boat ashamed of himself and his officers, letting more tears drop from his eyes and onto the ground. As the sight of the Fort departed from the eyes of Kelis he tearfully said “Never forget those who served here today, those who gave their lives for us, our families, and for the well being of the alliance.”

Is there anything else you would like to add, ask, or otherwise clarify?:
I would like to add that I just recently became hooked on writing and that I also wish to better myself through this server and learn from the others in the community.
