First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player.:
I have been rping for at least 5 years now. I've have table top and online gaming under my belt. I have been on other private rp servers before and even GM'd a private WoW server some years back. I'm in my mid twenties and live in boring Ohio. I played WoW extensively when it came out and saw several of my stories go to completion. Overall I'm looking to get back into an role playing community@
What country do you come from? What is your primary language?
As stated before I live in Ohio. I speak English and Russian but my Russian is very very rusty.
How did you get into Warcraft?:
I played the original game, Warcraft II and beta tested every Warcraft game after save for Wrath of the Lich King. I've been in the Warcraft universe since day one!
What made you seek our server over others?:
The role playing community is what drew me here. I have been on many servers and honestly have found that they lack quality role playing. At first I loved the game for what it was then quickly found that I enjoyed role playing more then raiding and pvp. It is this type of environment I am attracted to.
What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
I enjoy a good emotional story. I feel that such a story engulfs all types of roleplay. I have had several characters that wouldn't be found sitting at an inn, while others wouldn't be caught with a sword. I find that often pairing off is enjoyable mostly however the more people the more there is to role play!
What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
This is a tricky one! I've always loved the Orcs and their Shaman. However I often find my characters drawing me to classes I don't normally play. My warrior was one of my favorites and I'd love to get such a detailed game again.
What are your expectations of this server?:
I am hoping to find a great environment for extensive role playing and new character development. I have had the pleasure of seeing a few of my characters stories come to completion and there is an odd satisfactory feeling when you've closed the last chapter and you know your character is complete.
Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
This also is rather difficult. Be respectful. At all times. The last server that I was on was such great fun till this simple idea got away from a lot of people. It ruins it if you don't respect the roleplay others are preforming. However close second is a required knowledge of the lore.
Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:
Rykin turned his head away from the fire. He'd been here far to long. If anybody had heard from her he would have been aware of it by now. He took a deep sigh and the smoke from the small fireplace filled his lungs. Had he been a younger man he would have stood however now, with his younger years behind him he had to hold back a cough. He stood once more his armor heavy. He noticed his strength leaving him with each passing day. He looked around the small tavern one more time, a small glimmer of hope in his eye that she would walk through the door before he could leave. Alas, he was simply an old fool. He thanked the keeper for her hospitality and paid his bill before he headed toward the cold winter night. When the inn keeper saw the amount he had handed her in the small leather bag she shouted at him as he walked out the door. "Thank you sir and may the light bless you!"
He paused for only a moment...Light bless him. Once more he took in a deep breath. The phrase brought him peace as it always did. Still he knew as he stepped into the night, the snow falling into his silver hair.....she had wasted her breath.
