esperkitty`s Introduction

First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player.:
While this can be anything, they usually tend to be annoying, because most often times, the individual writing doesn't always know what to so. So, the question then begs how much to say. Simple truth is that I am a 29 year-old woman who is into fantasy and sci-fi games, and I'm a huge fan of the Star Wars universe. I am also an avid listener of various forms of music, usually gravitating towards metal, industrial, and various sub-genre of electronic music. I work, I pay bills, play video games, and in the process of finally going back to school to obtain a degree in Animated Graphics and Game Design. I love to play, so why not learn how to make them?

What country do you come from? What is your primary language?
I live in the south-eastern region of the United States, and my primary language is English, although I am rather fluent in "Bad English." -=Smirks.=-

How did you get into Warcraft?:
My first exposure to the WarCraft game was with WarCraft II way back in the late 1990's. Like, 1998-ish or so. From there, I went to StarCraft, as well as the Diablo games. When WarCraft III was released, I played it as much as I could, gravitating towards the Night Elves and Scourge (Death Knight hero, baby!). Despite being a fan of MMO's, I was initially hesitant of trying out World of WarCraft, until my younger brother got it for Christmas, and showed it to me. I tried it, found that I liked it, and over the last four years, have played it off and on, moving to a total of three servers on retail, all of which were Horde characters.

What made you seek our server over others?:
When seeking out a private server to play on, my main goal was to find a role-play server to play on. But at the same time, I did not want to land on one where the rates are insanely high, to where there would be no work involved other just having a couple of tanks, healers, and damage dealers beating down an unscripted boss. Additionally, such servers are dominated by individuals who donate money (not that I have anything against those that donate to keep a server active), and recieve gear that essentially makes them gods above others, including against high-end Raid bosses such as (at the time) Illidian, Kael'thas, and Archimonde.

What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
My preference is RP amongst a small group of people. I do not meet people easily outside of a simply seeing them, and can be somewhat shy, as well. I am, however, open to RP in any location, be it in a city, a small town, out in the wilderness, or even in the middle of a fight!

What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
This is perhaps the hardest question of all. I can personally relate with the Orcs, Forsaken, Sin'dorei, and Kaldorei the most, all for various reasons.

The Orcs are strong and proud race, who value honor, be it personal or community honor. I admire that, especially as I constantly strive to maintain my own sense of honor.

The Forsaken are damned creatures. Given a bad hand in their existence, they are the unwitting victims of another creatures deprivations. I've been there before. It's not fun. As such, I can easily sympathize with them.

The Sin'dorei have one overriding theme - Addiction. They strive to combat their addiction to magic, to control it, instead of it controlling them. That is something else that I can relate to, stemming from a much darker period of my life.

The Kaldorei are noble, respectful, and revere nature. In that, I find a sense of kinship with them, seeing as how they work and living within nature, not against it.

As for favorite class, I have three. Warlock, Shaman, and Death Knight.

The Warlock branches from the summoner in me. Ever since I first played Advanced Dungeons and Dragons for the first time in 1996, I have been enthralled by summoners, and almost always gravitate towards them in any game I play.

Shamans, to a very lesser extent, are summoners in their own right, in my opinion. But instead of dmons or other-worldly creatures, they call upon the very spirits of nature itself. That, in itself, makes me smile.

Death Knights. Ah, my beloved Death Knights. I have loved them since WarCraft III, for they command powers over the very thing I fear the most - death itself. There is a twisted sense of satisfaction playing as a Death Knight, knowing that such a class is a harbinger of death, and the mechanics allow you to excel at it. And they're also the most fun to tank with!

What are your expectations of this server?:
First and foremost, fun. But also the respect of my personal privacy. I had to leave my last server because of an obscene lack of such. My life is mine. I shall share it with those I desire, and as much, or little, as I desire.

Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
Humility. Being human, I can easily fall into arrogance, and have done so many times before. It's a good rule to have, and a good lesson to keep as a forethought when immersing yourself into a fictional character.

Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:
This section is left blank until I can create a character and secure a character name. At such time, it will be revisited, and filled out.

Is there anything else you would like to add, ask, or otherwise clarify?:
Nothing that comes to mind thus far! If so, though, then I'll certainly browse through the forums, and if I cannot find an answer, make an inquiry or comment!
