First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player.:
The part I enjoy most about any game is putting my character in a story. Not only in WoW, but in any game. Since WoW has best opportunities for role play plus the Warcraft series has been my favorite game series since 1996 (or was it '97?), I've grown quite fond of the game. Ofcourse I also love to level and pvp and raid and what not, but I like to add (at least) a spark of story to everything I do in the game.
What country do you come from? What is your primary language?
I'm from Estonia (north-eastern Europe). My native language is Estonian, but due to education, work and years and years of cartoons, movies and computer games I also speak English and German fluently (or at least I'd like to think so), mostly English though.
How did you get into Warcraft?:
It was 1996 or '97 and I was at my aunt's place, watching my cousin play a strategy game with humans and some weird green creatures. When I saw the awesomeness of the Conjurers' Rain of Fire I knew I wanted him to teach me to play. That game was Warcraft: Orcs and Humans and I really loved it (still do). Afterwards I played Warcraft II and then later Warcraft III. A few years ago a friend introduced me to WoW. I started playing it and well, here I am.
What made you seek our server over others?:
Since I started playing WoW I've played in many different servers. It's really hard to find decent RP. A few days ago a friend of mine (the same one who introduced me to WoW in the fist place, now a denizen here under the name Nähvits or something like that) told me about this server so I checked it out. What I've read on the forums so far has lead me to believe that your server is great for RP, probably due to this initiation form, and I would really like to experience it for myself.
What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
It's hard to say, because good roleplay depends more on the players than the scenery. Two kinds of RP I DON'T like are I-am-a-hardcore-dude-who-alone-is-the-chosen-one-and-who-alone-can-save-the-world and also the I-am-a-common-citizen-in-my-house-drinking-coffee style. A lot of people like such RP, so no offense to anybody, but in my opinion they are two sides of the same rusted coin.
What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
So far I've enjoyed Tauren druid the most, probably because it was my main character on my most successful server so far, but other then that I like the Tauren due to their mentality. Basically I don't have an actual favorite - I like to play different combinations and see how they fit my vision of the Warcraft universe.
What are your expectations of this server?:
Mature co-players and good roleplay is the most important aspect. I also enjoy other features like leveling,raiding and battlegrounds, but those are not as important as RP.
Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
If i had to pick one, it would be the one about maturity. I believe that rule is most influential - with maturity comes respect, proper language, tolerance etc.
Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:
Yan'Azeem is a young male troll, who was but a young boy, when the orcs helped the Darkspear tribe settle on the Echo Islands. During his short time in the world, he always had an interest towards anything "mojo". As he saw the orcs helping his tribe, he grew an interest for the orcs' art of shamanism. Now that Yan'Azeem is older, he starts studying this art thoroughly. (this is where the game begins. I will write more, when I aim to move up to Gruntship, if you find me worthy for your server =))
