First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player.:
Well, I'm 18 and live in Texas, and video games play an interesting role in my life; they're a casual past time, and I rarely dedicate more than an hour or two per day to them, but when I do play, I approach them with a hardcore gamer's attitude.
What country do you come from? What is your primary language?
I was born and raised in Texas (US), and my primary language is English although I speak nearly fluent Spanish.
How did you get into Warcraft?:
It was one of those random buys at Gamestop, which developed into one of my most played games to date.
What made you seek our server over others?:
I only got into RP recently, but I thoroughly enjoy it because it caters to my love for creative writing. Google directed me here, and it seems to be a lot more structured and serious than the other results.
What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
Typically my characters are of the warrior archetype, and I enjoy telling war stories from distant lands as a returning soldier, or telling jokes over a pint of ale.
What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
I love the Sindorei and Kaldorei, simply because of the fantastic lore that surrounds those races. On the other hand, Paladin is by and large my favorite class, because it fits both my RP archetype and has rich lore.
So, either a Human or Sindorei Paladin is my preference.
What are your expectations of this server?:
I expect a server with legitimate RP, GMs who aren't Nazis, and an overall lax but serious RP fantasy environment.
Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
No OOC politics or religion, and the inherent lack of /trade idiots and trolls.
Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:
Adonai squinted his eyes against the downpour, searching out the city gate in the distance. Squeezing the horse's haunches with his knees, he urged it out of its weary walk into a light trot, eager to reach the shelter of the city. As he approached the gate, two archers surveyed him over their drawn arrows. "What business have you here?" they implored. "I seek only a warm hearth and a place to rest my head," he replied. In silent countenance, the gates creaked slowly open. Once past the city gates, the lone traveler wheeled his mount right, towards the stables. One his steed was entrusted to a stable boy paid with a small gold coin, he drudged through the mud towards the city tavern. As he ducked through the door, Adonai instinctively made for the back corner, taking a seat facing the door. He ordered a pint of ale and a loaf of stale bread and leaned back in his chair, waiting for his unknown ally to reveal himself.
