Furries?
#1
Now I play a druid that was born before the Sundering, and his natural affinity is shapeshifting.
And there is an item from a quest that allows one to turn into a furbolg.

So my question is: Could an experienced druid use his talents to shift into a Furbolg, or are they not a big enough part of nature?

Heh, talk about a misleading topic title. ;P
Who is evil, who is blind?
In the name of who you'll find
You're not supposed to question faith
But how do you accept this fate?

It would require your druid to be a pioneer in the way of shapeshifting. The forms available to druids now, have been the same for a very long time, I believe. All of these, with the exception of the Tree of Life, are animals, and furbolgs are not. This would be akin to your druid transforming into a human, Blood Elf, etc. Your character would NEED to be prestige and it would take a loooong time of studying the Furbolg people, probably in Timbermaw, IC. You'd have to learn their anatomy too, everything. It's possible, but do you really want to spend that sort of time doing that? On an [un] related note, theres an item in Howling Fjord that lets the user turn into a wolf, I reckon this would be possible, and it can only be used in Howling Fjord anyway.

Haha at the title....

The only item I can think of that would help you would require you be Alliance. There is a quest to get Darol's Rod of Transformation that allows you to turn in a furbolg until you take damage.

This doesn't come off as a question as to what item could do it, but more so, what could be believably used IC for this. In other words, -could- he become one.

I think this was already answered by another player, so, locked.
