...I haven't really RP'd with your characters, having only participated in Bloodsworn Honorguard events (Hey, it's Dagrim.)

The thing is, whenever you play as Kathorg or whoever your Alliance version is, it seems like you -only- play them to set up events. I know from their positions in society that it is unlikely that they would interact with us but...still.

When someone mentions one of your characters (Or your username, 'Brutal'), I do not think of your characters. I think of your events (Which are always awesome). Take that as you will.

I just have one thing to say; Your events are awesome, and your dedication to the RP in general here on CotH is even better. Keep it up, keep creative.

I enjoye my time in the Bloodsworn Honorguard as Grollok...however as skilled a player you may be, you tend to drop out as fast as you came...you seem to come back and forth from CotH constantly, pick up the guild, then drop it again. Personally that's why I didn't join when you came back around again...but aside from what I said you're a nice person and good company to RP with.

This is gonna be one heck of a necro, but you know what? Brutal, dagnabbit, you deserve some feedback man.

So, I'll be honest with you. Back when I was a GM, you know that I watched you a lot and would get frustrated with you when you'd try to post something about major changes that I didn't agree with. Years later, I've been starting to play with you more.

My first real experience with you was an event in the crossroads, between Mouse, you, Chalker, and Myself. Let me say this right off the bat---I'd never done stuff with you at that point. I -knew- you were highly thought of with those that you RP'd with frequently, but I didn't know I was going to be in for such an amazing treat. Your combat system, while daunting for anyone to use that isn't used to it----IS AMAZING. Yes, it's freakin' amazing from the point where you feel like your characters -are- in danger, and their tactics and choices actually matter. There's chance of injury, and worse in these sorts of things... making the risks fun because you know there will be a reward.

Then... then I got involved with the Thelwind RP.

HNNGH. Brutal. I love your events. It's like engorging yourself on a tub of icecream. Such a guilty pleasure. You end up feeling so deeply for your characters during them because of this wonderful, WONDERFUL palpable tension. We did that one event in the guild for what, four hours? During that time I had to pee so bad, but I refused to get my butt off the chair because of each delicious story developement morsel you were tossing at us.

You're a brilliant DM. You turn your events into something that feels like a very personal Pen and Paper game, rather than the casual-arse RP constantly that happens. Really, I feel like I owe you something for the amount of thought you put not ONLY behind the stories BUT, behind how it affects MY character too. It's wonderful.

The only negative I can think of---and take this with a grain of salt, because it's all in the past---is that sometimes you have a habbit of getting dejected with stuff OOCly doesn't work out. I'm talking like... lack of interest, or, some sort of dispute in the forums. Sometimes you've gotta step back, look at it impartially, and weigh if you would rather pay attention to that or the positive. Let me just say this---if you were to leave suddenly, I'd be pretty sad, because right now? I love all the RP we have together, that -you- help create. I really, really wish we'd gotten the Grey up together---but that'll come in time, I'm sure, once I feel comfortable going back there.

So there. There's my necro. Man, keep doing the things you do. They are goddamn wonderful.

So....
Taking Jerico into house Thelwind was something so unplanned and worked out perfectly. Brutal, that was the first time I've RPed with you and gosh-darnit you are amazing at your DMing.

That first event I ran with you was great. Combat was inventive and ingaging, interesting use of thresholds and you managed to drop a feel bomb on me as well.

All I can say is all the events/random-encounters I have with you always leave a smile on my face because of the amount of fun you conjure up.

Feedback thread necromancy is best when done twice. This thread has been re-reanimated.

So, I'm going to say something that should come as no surprise to anyone that knew us and our interactions in the past: I used to hate you. I don't even remember exactly why we had that conflict...egos getting in the way, perhaps. All I know is that I was quite unfair and cruel to you in the past. I apologize.

It's made me quite happy to be able to speak to you on Mumble and have the pleasant conversations we've been having. I don't know what changed to make that happen, but I'd like to believe that we both matured a bit compared to where we were at those years ago when we first met. Nonetheless, our interactions taught me something recently that I think I needed to learn: if you never give someone a second chance, you'll never be pleasantly surprised, and you'll lose potential friends.

So, thank you.

I hope you continue to come around Mumble and chat it up with us. I hope that sometime we can convince you to hop on Kathorg and RP Horde-side again, and not just as an event leader. So come around and say hello anytime. Hope to hang out with you more, and I mean that with sincerity.

And tell me about your pen and paper stories sometime. I do enjoy hearing it, even if I have trouble replying sometimes.
Have you hugged an orc today?
