Hey there, CotH. It's Esth for the sixth time or so, coming to you in order to announce my departure. I'm sure those of you who have been around for the other five times won't be surprised in the least bit. Anywho, let's get to the nit 'n grit of this post, yes?
I'm leaving CotH for an undetermined amount of time. This means that, if all goes well, I shouldn't be returning for an extended period of time in, well, ever. It's been a long time coming and my interest in CotH has faded an incredible amount as compared to everything I'll be focusing on in the coming days. That isn't to say that I didn't enjoy my time here, not at all. I'm merely facing a lot of upcoming events that I need to focus on more than a Private Server for WoW.
Yes, I feel bad for leaving some people in the dust with some of the things I've cooked up. No, I don't feel bad for leaving.
Thank you to my few remaining friends on CotH for making my stay rather enjoyable. You have my apologies for having been the ranting sort on many occasions. Thank you to the GM team, who I would like to consider my friends, for maintaining the Server as you do and putting up with me.
To everyone that it may seem I have done wrong to, I do apologize for my behavior. Just as importantly, I offer my apologies to all of CotH's residents for my more hostile behavior and manner of speech, should you have witnessed it at some point.
As for what will happen to my characters?
Sigmund Blacksteel found himself surrounded by Scourge in the Borean Tundra. In the battle, his helmet was knocked free from his head and ruined. In a fit of feigned rage and anxiety, the Forsaken became a recluse, running off into the wilderness. He is either dead or a mindless zombie, one guess is as good as any.
Dremm Darkhorn, after being dropped off by the Kidnapped Event's characters, found himself following Mogdrog's orders as well as he could. He roamed and wandered to the best of his ability until he was captured by Goblin slave-traders. He is now in an undisclosed location, currently under the "employment" of the Steamwheedle Cartel.
Sabrand Fletcher committed a series of low profile murders in Westfall before deciding to step up a bit more. Upon the conclusion of his first murder in Goldshire, he slipped up just enough. The local guard caught him just before he tried his second and he was carted off to Stormwind. He is currently awaiting a trial in which he is almost certain to be found guilty.
The Orc named Degrik began to wither away, spending the remaining days he had in Orgrimmar. Before he began to succumb to age, however, the old fool left his family, donning mail armor and claiming that he would, "die with an arrow in my lung, hacking blood and crying to the spirits for forgiveness, before I would die gray."
That all being said, I bid you all well.

10,000 days in the fire is long enough,
You're going home...
