krazykow14`s Introduction

First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player.:
I am 15 years old, and my first passion is World of Warcraft (No, I don't have much of a life). I have played retail WoW in all three expansions and been an active member of many private servers for as long as WoW has existed. I have played every single class and every single race at least once and I feel I have a huge wealth of knowledge of Warcraft lore. I played Warcraft 3 and that taught me most of what I know, but I have read numerous books about Warcraft lore. I consider myself an avid and knowledgeable player.

What country do you come from? What is your primary language?
I come from Rhode Island in the United States. I speak English and a minor amount of French from school.

How did you get into Warcraft?:
I played Starcraft just by coincidence and my brother's basketball coach told him that Warcraft 3 was like a better Starcraft. So we obviously picked up Warcraft 3 and Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne, and it started there. I played those games almost exclusively for years until WoW came along. I bought the game a few months after it was released and still paly it today. Of course I've taken breaks from the game here and there, but I've always come back to it for the past 5-6 years.

What made you seek our server over others?:
I really wanted to do some intense role-playing, so I did a search of what private servers were available, because private servers seemed to be more accessible and easier to customize a server to your role-play desires, and that led me to Conquest of the Horde and Echeloned WoW. I tried Echeloned WoW and I liked the ability to use GM commands to truly get any item that you needed, but role-playing was few and far between and nothing lasted for more than 30 minutes. So now I seek role-playing once again, and CotH is the obvious, and hopefully right, choice.

What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
Really anything, but I've always preferred combat and adventure related role-play. I feel that because the game was designed to be an action/combat game, the engine really opens up a lot of possibilities for encounters with any manner of foe. I played D&D for a while, so I enjoy the more standard small party adventures, with a group almost like you would find in a retail instance.

What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
My favorite race/class combo goes in phases just like my music tastes. I don't have retail 80s of every race and class, so I really like to experiment, but I can narrow it down to my favorite race and favorite classes for what aspects they bring. I love races like humans and orcs, the simple main races that give so much versatility and can really be taken in any way that you want. For example, playing a Night Elf puts many restrictions on what you can role-play as. My favorite classes are also similar, and I prefer classes like hunters and warriors; classes that are so versatile and can be role-played as good, evil, neutral, greedy, loving, adventurous, cruel, and anything in between. So as a broad overview, I prefer classes and races with a lot of versatility, that don't have to be good like paladins, or evil like warlocks, or averted to magic like night elves or addicted to it like Blood Elves.

What are your expectations of this server?:
I really want to get some adventure in a D&D campaign style. I don't want a 45 minute village role-play where I take on a different role every time. I will be looking to find a fun, tight-knit group of people who I can play with whenever I log on (or most of the time) and that we can get a really in-depth campaign in. Something that I can really write a characters backstory for and continue to change him/her as they advance in maturity and skill over time.

Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
The rule about Maturity really appeals to me. I may only be 15, but with people I am not totally 100% comfortable being immature with, I feel that I can be very mature for my age. In my experience, of the 11 million people that play WoW, the percentage of immature whiners is far too high. I want layed back people that are serious about role-playing and can be amture when something doesn't go their way.

Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:
I really pride myself on being able to write a good story. But I will finish this later, as I want to write something that involves my characters experiences as I arrive on the server.

Is there anything else you would like to add, ask, or otherwise clarify?:
I'm really excited to get started!

Welcome!

And something I always keep in mind: Age =/= maturity. I've met many young whippersnappers like yourself that have been much more mature than those in their upper teens or lower 20s, if not older.

Yeah! Like me...! Age doesn't matter much here. Really, I've seen so many immature adults and mature teens, that I don't care anymore. I'm kind of repeating Kretol, but erm... Yeah.

No, really, I'm the worst example.
Azheron's back in business. For reals.
