First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player.:
Well, hello! I've been playing World of Warcraft for about 4 years now. I'm 15, turning 16, but I like to think that I act mature for my age. I'm a generally a friendly and forgiving person. I enjoy writing, art, music, and acting. I've also been RPing for around 7 years.
What country do you come from? What is your primary language?
I live on the eastern coast of the United States and my primary language is English.
How did you get into Warcraft?:
Honestly, I got into World of Warcraft out of boredom. I'd always enjoyed fantasy settings and roleplay, not to mention I'd heard of the game quite a bit. When I got the game itself, I didn't find much roleplay. The more I got into the lore, though, the more roleplay I found. I went to buy Warcraft III and read many of the novels.
What made you seek our server over others?:
A close friend of mine told me about this server. Of course, I was interested. The RP servers Blizzard has up have always been lacking. The swarms of people who, sadly, couldn't roleplay well were growing by the day. I've been looking for a place where roleplay is done in an interesting and fun way. After spending several hours reading CoTH's wiki, I believe I've found it, if you'll take me.
What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
I enjoy action and danger RP if it's done without people getting angry. Being such, I haven't been able to participate in it much, though I do enjoy roleplay fighting when rolls are used. Relaxing RP is nice, too, though I prefer it after a more action-based RP. The amount of people in the RP doesn't matter much to me, either, in all honesty!
What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
Hm... This is a hard one for me. I love all the races in some way. My -favorite-, though, has to be either tauren or Forsaken. I've always loved the peaceful, native american based culture that the tauren have, not to mention I love their lore. The whole aspect of the Forsaken is a reason why I adore them. Their struggles, pain, and the different mental and physical challenges they may face with their disability intrigues me. For gameplay itself, I like warriors. Tanking is very fun for me, and I love the fact they can use all weapons, but wands. For RP, I like warlocks because of the more shunned and hated aspect to them.
What are your expectations of this server?:
Honestly? I have high expectations! I've only heard good things about this place, and with each new thing, I grow more and more excited. The fact that so many RPers, even the GMs themselves, stay here and nurture roleplay makes me very, very happy. I think CoTH will be a wonderful place to roleplay, if I'm accepted.
Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
Several rules appeal to me. The guard abuse policy has to be my favorite. On Blizzard servers, people can come and kill your quest givers, guards, and the like and nothing happens except, maybe, a small repair bill. The fact it actually effects your roleplay here is wonderful!
Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:
If possible, I'd prefer to complete this later. It's not that I cannot write stories well, because I have, it's just that I suffer from severe writer's block when it comes to stories quite often. Usually I need some kind of inspiration. When I do complete this, it'll most likely be about my main character on the CoTH server, if accepted.
Is there anything else you would like to add, ask, or otherwise clarify?:
I'd just like to note that I tend to be a bit shy and cautious in the beginning. XD;; Once I get used to people or make some friends, though, I become much more friendly and open. Please don't take the fact that I'm quiet at first to heart or anything.
