Looking for Feedback.
#1
Hey Coth.

Looking for some feedback on my two approved characters I play alot of, Avints and Ventus.
Im also starting another Character by the name of Gavas. Ain't rp'd him much so there will not be really much to comment on him for the time being however.
Feel free to say what you want about them, I won't mind too much as it does result in my benefit.

Heya Avitz. So, so, so... Let's start with Avints, shall we?

First of all, your RP of him is damn near perfect for a paladin. He's the Moral-Choice man as you and I have repeatedly said. Now, I also like that, like any person of high moral standing, he -can- be twisted ever so slightly, by the companions he keeps(Read Syl, the executioner). What he brings to the RP atmosphere is exactly that. A moral compass. Also, a libram that contains a cure for drunkeness.

Avints is a reactive character. He won't start things by himself. He will react to situations he is put in or, which he witnesses. If this is your intention, then it's perfectly fine, however, if it isn't, try kicking something up once in a while. It can be pretty fun, not having to be the one that solves everyone else's problems all the time.

Look out for flying toolboxes/rabbits.

Ventus time!

Well, Vent's a Draenei Anchorite now, and he doesn't -exactly- play the part. What I mean is, that while he acts as a guide for others, he probably won't dissagree with them too strongly, no matter their course of action. It's a good thing, in my eyes, because it gives the people he interacts with the choice wether to listen to him or not. This also moves him towards the good-side of the alignment spectrum. Also, he's changed a lot since I first met him. Sliiiiiightly more... err... less childish. All in all, fun to be with IC.

You've put old Vent through a ton of things... And now he finally has what he's always wanted. It's a storybook ending. But does it end? Fel no. Keep his RP coming, because it's great.

/e idly rubs chin with tendril.

Gavas! The somewhat-mute. He's a good counterpiece to the more talkative/weird characters around. Otherwise, a personality somewhat derivative from that of Ventus, in my view of things. Now, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. They're both Draenei. But one's a warrior, the other an Anchorite. Maybe I haven't RP-ed with him enough. Anyhow.

Th...thhh...that's... a..all... fo... folks...

- "Now, I also like that, like any person of high moral standing, he -can- be twisted ever so slightly, by the companions he keeps(Read Syl, the executioner)."

Well, I have been thinking alot about how I could develop Avints recently, and seeing as he is practically around night elves alot of the time, I had been thinking he may (over time granted) slowly begin to look and somewhat act like a night elf beyond knowing a little more about there culture than others, and of course having a relationship with one of them.

Im trying to find ways to make him less of a reactive character (which I personally believe unfortunately my three characters are...Avints and Ventus much more than Gavas due to the fact he practically can't talk common to begin with anyway). Again I have one or two things partially planned out (yes one of which does happen to be related to Scarlet Event) which might get him causing rping

-"Well, Vent's a Draenei Anchorite now, and he doesn't -exactly- play the part."

*Points fingers of blame at a list of people who slowly made him the Anchorite he is today*

Originally he was a bread and butter Priest. This is waaaaaay back even before the Kidnapping event, where he was trying to understand people and ultimately, promoted the light and was strict on his morals. Over time he's developed which I kinda like alot looking back now. After his sense of security being ripped asunder after the kidnapping event, and hows he's slowly gotten out of his quiet sided shell and is now out there doing quite alot of different things (One of the things I -never- thought would happen was for him to get into the arenas and (attempt) to beat things up with his bare hands).

- "You've put old Vent through a ton of things... And now he finally has what he's always wanted. It's a storybook ending. But does it end? Fel no. Keep his RP coming, because it's great."

Right now, I have confidence that Ventus' book isn't closing for quite some time. My prediction being many, many months after the server reset (Which I have plans to retcon elements of a plot device apparently named after a beverage by someone named after a type of bird, so that they would be a possibly (I still need to see a gm about it) be a playable character which would likely result in a hole new story arch for the Anchorite) That Ventus will still be kicking with things to do. If not, I will be looking for things for the Draenei to do, because I greatly enjoying Rping him.

Hmm...Gavas is my new character and im intending to have him be quite a racist character instead (except when talking to other Draenei, where he may end up being Ventus with plate armour...), its just the problem is, not being able to speak common well kinda makes racial slurs harder to do (it also helps having people to hurl the racial slurs at also.). Another thing thats likely making him similar is because Ventus is the only character I play quite alot of recently, as Avints and Gavas have been only a few hour rp things.

Anyway, my two cents on your two cents.

BUMP

It's been a fair while and rather than usually get grumpy about other people, perhaps its time I let people be grumpy towards me.

So then, from the top.

Avints - The Pansy Exemplar in training...if he ever gets a chance to train, with his might Side-Kick the rabbit Vincint.

Ventus - The Anchorite with a happy ending...till Kidnapping 3.

Gavas - The Argent Draenei Tank.

Gavin - Brother of Avints, and a emotionless werido.

Algus - Just another Blood Knight

And that's about it really, unless you know of other characters im on and wish to give them feedback also.
